I like baseball analogies Trump hit a home run with Rubio! Trump hit a solid double with Bessent he struck out with “Vance” and Hegseth and Trump slipped and fell on his azzz in the batters box with that druggie RFK Jr.

They could play their entire backup O-Line, and our pass rush won't sniff Drake Maye. I can't believe anyone would still be holding out hope for the AFC East title. It's not going to happen. I'm not even sure a Wild Card is realistic the way this team has been playing.

Yeah, well. Team sucks. You'll just have to get used to complaints. This is a drought-level team, even with a QB -
So I ran the numbers on 10-7 and the Bills most likely get in as long as their 3 wins are AFC given the tiebreakers they have as they gets them to 10-7. Even if they lose to PIT and go 10-7 they have the edge on BAL/JAX if those two are wildcards. Where things could get squirrely is if the Texans get to 10 wins & the Steelers get to 10 wins and that is our competition for the final spot. Houston does not have an easy schedule left with IND 2x, KC, LAC out of their remaining 6. A Bills win over PIT would really help to put some distance in the wildcard race and add another tiebreaker, but as long as they are 10-7 with all three wins AFC they still have a solid look at the playoffs.

Back to the OP - hard disagree. Its verging on nonsense. I can see the logic tracking with a substandard QB - "well the scheme would work if he could just execute it properly" But it falls apart when you see multiple years. There are a few blowhards on here diving into posts effectively saying 17 is not executing properly, this guy was open, that guy was open, he should have thrown that away blah, blah, blah - as though Allen just appeared on planet earth. In that case how did he execute it properly last year? To the tune of historic low turnovers and an MVP!?! Is he not trying any more? Did he just forget? The reality is DCs spent time studying how to beat it* - and they are regularly doing so now. And so it looks crappy. And that is directly correlated to the OC just running it back - which is an OC issue. Not a QB issue. *Something to think about for Babich and McClappy 🤣🤣 They do tend to adjust well second half - but it makes you think that what they saw in the first half was different than they expected - I. E. They ran into a good OC!

All those defenses give up big yardage, which sets up much better situations for Allen than Houstons #1 D did. So realistically they at least get 3 of those games
-
Yeah?....Well the Da Bears scored 31 with a new coach and it pisses me off. I took the Jets and the points, the Titans, the Giants, Atlanta (moneyline) and I figured I'd take the Pitt defense.....and Chicago scores 31? WTF? I'm talking hundys here. Lesson I guess is....Look at the new coaches and what they are doing. Heck, AAron Glenn could also be giving us trouble going forward. I think we need a change. Hell give me Jon Gruden, Mike McDaniels and Wink Martindale.

If the offense is THAT bad again, Brady has to go. I don't care if McDermott calls the offense, too many times where we telegraphed the plays and were instantly stopped.

Going to be interesting for the O-Line, will it be stability or transition? For example, next year, would we risk an line that consists of RVD-Grable-SVPG-Anderson-Brown? Those 4 guys would have waited at least 2 years for their opportunity to start on a full time basis, plus Lundt as OL6. Dawkins should go after this year, his play is in decline unfortunately and seems to be becoming a distraction. I would let McGovern and Edwards hit FA. Torrence might be our only trade chip in the offseason and he will be due a big $ contract after his rookie deal. We just don't look that good in pass protection, I believe Morse was well respected in helping call the protections. What should be our strength isn't looking that way at present and we need Coach Kromer to elevate the new talent.

You are not going to get me to disagree at all here... they are desperately trying to use these folks and getting them injured worse... I have no idea, but Spencer Brown if taken out is he day to day... and now he is an IR candidate? I dont like making excuses but the Ravens and the Bills definately got the short end of the injury bug... I am not sure I have seen anything like this.... but it was the same last year as well... to the point I am looking at the composition of the team saying are we way small, unconditioned, scheme is bad , or just been flat out unlucky for the last several years.

They rank 17th in DVOA. It's a fringe wild card team masquerading as an actual contender. The fall will be violent.

We're Heading to Pittsburgh... The Stadium is Haunted

I was surprised when I visited that ghost tours seem to be a thing in the city -
What I didn't mention, though, is that while that 1998 Denver team ran more than they threw it, it was because they had such a dominant RB. They also had two 1000-yard receivers in Rod Smith, Ed McCaffrey, and TE Shannon Sharpe. The Buffalo Bills have some decent talent at receiver, and they... just... can't... stay... healthy! Freaking snakebit, cursed. Is it conditioning, not enough stretching, IDK.

cooked. 30-13 steelers. no playoffs -
Maybe not because so many other teams are having down years like KC and Baltimore and heck even the Texans.. you guys may end up facing the Texans since they look like the #2 team in their division.. and I rather face Indy than them.. that D is scary!! Division winners right now: Ravens, Denver, Indy, Philly, Chicago, rams, Carolina/Tampa only Philly, Rams, and Ravens scare me… (I have no idea who the 3 winners be.. but it’s only a 3 game difference.. people make to much of it.. the fact is the Bills have had an easy schedule too but you lost to 2 bum teams in Atlanta and Miami don’t lose those and it’s a tie in the AFCE right now)

I said no as I really only see one guaranteed win, the Jet game, they will probably beat Cincy because it's home and the Eagles is a toss up as it's at home also. I can see 10-7 but dont think thats good enough to get in. Maybe they get luck to get 11 wins and I do think that would get them in, 10 won't IMO.

Will finally get a chance to check in on them this year tonight. Though game may not be the best indicator since they are playing #2 Houston

Listen to the American revolution podcast. It's way more detailed and doesn't have any agendas. Even though the burns one was good for high schoolers. I would also state that the hard leftist out there maybe, just maybe try grey history for the French revolution . There are two aides to that argument. Same with Britain paying brant and his army of Canadian natives that purposely attacked the homes, wives and children of the colonial militia. And brutally.

⬆️ 😂 🎯 There is overwhelming evidence former FBI Director James Comey lied to Congress and obstructed a Senate investigation into Crossfire Hurricane—the biggest scandal in American history. There is overwhelming evidence New York Attorney General Tish James lied on her mortgage application and committed bank fraud. The prior U.S. attorney refused to prosecute these Democrat operatives. So the Attorney General picked a new one who is unafraid to follow the law. What is the Democrats’ response? Unsurprisingly, an Obama judge hand-selected a Clinton judge. Then the Clinton judge tossed both indictments. And the first sentence in both nearly identical orders, in which the Clinton judge personally and gratuitously attacks Lindsey Halligan, makes it crystal clear this judge is a Democrat partisan. Democrat politicians, including in robes, shamefully protect their own. Unfortunately, we have two systems of justice. One Democrats weaponize against enemies. And one Democrats weaponize to protect allies. The Justice Department must appeal. And it must move aggressively to bring charges against the Lawfare Democrats in Fort Pierce, Florida.

And the PAtriot loss was turnover driven (mostly Josh) and the Texans was inept play and turnovers again, mostly by Josh. -
Thanks for this. It confirms what I thought -- most of the sacks were coverage sacks. As an aside, Dawkins looks good on most of the sacks shown. He's beaten on 2 sacks but the rest he holds up pretty well. Not much Brady can do against a talented Texan back 4 especially when injuries have put a bunch of 2d stringers at WR. Brady's use of mesh is what you are supposed to do against man coverage. None of this is to say that Bready is great but you must consider what he has to work with. Interesting, the Chiefs a few years back had a weak WR corps yet succeeded despite that. maybe Brady should look at how the Chiefs did it.

That's the thing. How CAN it be any worse? Bosa isn't getting home. It's legitimately difficult to have a lower pass rush rate than he has had over the past few games, which is why it seems more beneficial to let him sit for a few games. Now, if it were a situation where Bosa was playing well despite injury, THAT would make it a difficult decision, but that isn't the case here; he's completely ineffective right now. He isn't helping himself or the team. People talked about Spencer Brown playing for way too long against the Texans with one arm. Well, Bosa's essentially been doing the same thing... for 3 weeks and counting.

A loss this week and the wheels fall off. A win and we keep limping along the dusty road.
