They're in the same place that San Fran was last season until they made the switch to Singletary. You don't have to be the greatest natural talent but you have got to LEAD your freaking team. I'd love to see Edwards grab someone by the facemask or get in someone's grill the way Kelly did but that's never going to happen. The saddest part is that it's going to get worse before it gets better. You can't lead when you suck. He is getting KILLED by bad play at the tackles. I think you're right...if he has any hope of getting his confidence back, it probably involves being benched for about eight years.
