DaBills51 Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 Sometimes I think that Bills fans are the worst behaved fans in the league. Disgusting if this is true. While I agree that the act is disgusting, one person doesn't represent the entire Bill's fan base. With presumably over a million Bills fans in WNY, the action of this one psycho is a freak occurence and nothing more. If the players assume that one person's actions speak for Bills fans everywhere then they need to come back to reality. For a true representation of Buffalo Bills fans look to those who welcomed Scott Norwood back with open arms at City Hall or the fans who gave the 07 Bills a standing ovation after the Monday night loss to Dallas. Highly paid English Premiership players from Liverpool and Machester were getting their homes burgled when they were on Champions League duty in Europe. This sounds more like a disgruntled A-hole who can't hold his liqour rather than organised crime. I would think Bills fans would have more respect for their players than that. Its ridiculous that someone would take their anger in losing to that level. Its a game folks, these players are people just like you and me and they deserve to have their public and private lives separate. I really hope whoever did this was not a member of TBD. You don't think that the "safety issue" is caused by a bunch of other dynamics that has been playing out in the league especially the last few decades (ie: extreme wealth coupled with intense fame, etc.. etc..)... The problem is that these players are living lives that are nothing like the average fams that financially support their livelyhood. Classic rich/fame vs. people making a ton less... Disparity. Don't get me wrong, I AM NOT CONDONING THIS ACT. The league and the fans made this beast. You know what the number one crimes were during the height of the Great Depression?... Bank robbing and kidnapping rich folk. Try not to burn a fuse figuring it out... You won't... Please... I don't mind if you slam me... Just do it intelligently.
