lets_go_bills Posted April 26, 2009 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Tim, In previous years, Chris Berman always had a "cabbie" who seemed to know who the Bills were going to take in the first round. Recently, he's had no idea. Do you know who his insider was that no longer is part of the Bills organization? Also, I find it sad that Berman isn't able to do that anymore. He always kept it close to the vest and didn't say anything until they were making their pick. I think this really helped boost the image of the Bills during draft day. Tom Donahoe. Sorry I couldn't stick around longer, but my hunch was right. For those who weren't there, I was nervous that I would have to sprint over to the Bills headquarters if an AFC East trade went down. I told the guys I felt comfortable enough to stay through four picks because I feared the Jets would trade for the No. 5 pick. Wish I could have hung around for a while. Thanks a bunch. I didn't have as much time to hang around TSW as much as I wanted to. But I will say that Scheffler was an impossibility as of Friday night. The Broncos decided to keep him. I think Buffalo is fine with Walker and Chambers starting with Levitre and Bell as backups. The Broncos decided to keep him. Tim, you could have helped us out with that one. Did you see all the GM's on this board with their Scheffler trade proposals?? Also, is it really that big of a deal that they decided to shore up the interior over the tackle spots? They invested in the draft more than they ever have at the OL. The line will be fine, and the DB's are a little annoying, but they will be good special teamers. Not to mention I feel like Ko is on the way out, and Mcgee won't sign back.
