He'll also likely not care when they eventually do grant his extension... If he doesn't report soon, I don't know if he'll even bother asking for an extension - and rather just hope to be released/traded... Because the relationship is souring by the day. No way Jason... the only people feeling "soured" are posters on TBD. I have no doubt that Peters, Parker, and Brandon all know this is how the game is played.
