JaBu Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Arrived at with 3 composite scores (PFF/ESPN/SIS); best is top right corner, worst bottom left corner. https://x.com/fball_insights/status/1996378570596536685/photo/1 1 2 Quote
GunnerBill Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago EPA per dropback is, largely, a Quarterback stat. And look at the guys towards the top: Love, Maye, Mahomes, Allen, Dak, Stafford.... it is a QB stat. That said I do think the pass protection data is interesting. To the pure eye test it has not been as good as it was in 2024... but you also have to acknowledge that Allen has also bailed on more clean pockets in 2025 than for 2 or 3 years... and I think that is because he is hoping getting out and changing the angle disrupts the coverage and helps one of our lamppost receivers to shake free. 1 1 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Interesting, but can be misleading as how shallow these passes are from Allen. 1 Quote

To be fair to Kincaid though I don’t believe he’s missed a playoff game yet which is something Quote

Allen has not been as good avoiding sacks, and he is also the culprit for some of the sacks. But Dawkins hasn't been quite as good this year. He was awesome last year, and regressed a bit. 2 Quote

But Dawkins hasn't been quite as good this year. He was awesome last year, and regressed a bit. Brown hasn't been as good in pass pro this year either. That is why I am surprised by the pass pro stats because to the eye test they are worse. Because of work pressures I have watched less of the rest of the NFL this year compared to normal. So it may well be that it is just the rest of the NFL sucks in pass blocking. Quote

I know he's getting older, but I think that if he came into camp next year 25 lbs lighter, he could have a standout season. Guy's been looking a tad huge this year. Quote

It hasn't been terrible. But last year it was good to the eye and this year I'd say generally it has been just okay. That they rank that high does surprise me. If they were 10th, 12th, sure. I'd recognise that. To be 2nd? Surprising. Quote

There are very few dominant olines anymore in the NFL. The Bills had one last year, at least. Quote
hondo in seattle Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The title is a little misleading. We don't lead in either Pass Blocking or Pass Play Efficiency. I guess you could argue that we lead in the combination of those two. But that doesn't matter. Good passpro should help you earn a good EPA but by itself doesn't mean a lot. Quote
