newcam2012 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I'm going to predict a big game for Coleman. Five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. He's back... 2 1 1 1 Quote

I have no faith in Coleman winning against these physical steeler corners. If he had even like 20 yards, I would be surprised. 1 Quote

You’d assume someone as strong as he can be on the bball court would understand how to play through contact. It’s like he is stymied by it. Back in the summer ppl were posting these clips of a shirtless Coleman working on agility drills, running these stutter step style routes…and I’m just watching this in June thinking that this is the wrong kind of training this dude needs. 1 Quote

That looked like at least a moderate hamstring injury. You aren't going to push those with a route runner. Generally if you think it's doing pretty good, you still give it another week to be safe. 3 weeks would have been pushing it. I always looked at it like Oliver's injury earlier in the season. You don't IR them bc of their importance and hope that you get them back for the 4th game - so you don't IR them. But it could very well be like Oliver where he misses the length of an IR anyways. Maine-iac Posted 16 minutes ago Posted 16 minutes ago I'll put on the flame suit for this but I believe it's true. For all the complaints about Coleman both Brady and Allen have done him no favors. For every one pass Allen actually puts somewhere Coleman can catch it he throws 3 or 4 others that are either not catch-able or flat line drives with no chance of going up and getting them. Certainly no excuse for not playing your hardest. I still think if Brady actually incorporated Coleman to get the ball in his hands his best attribute is running after the catch. The most impressive thing he did at the combine was running sideline to sideline catching everything thrown at him and we have him running go routes all game like he's a track star. Coleman should be running slants and deep ins with some plays schemed up to just get it to him short and let him break tackles. I'm not sure how good of a WR Coleman could be but I have no doubt it's more than what we've seen here. Hopefully there's better days ahead. Quote

A big factor in Coleman's lack of success is Brady and the Bills coaching staff. How on this earth did they think this guy could play the X WR position? They are inviting failure for Coleman. Brady can't scheme open anyone as well. They should have never drafted him which is a Beane mistake. Coleman at best is a average big slot WR. In short, I blame the player as well as the Bills organization from top to bottom. You just can't have misses like this. Quote
