I will almost guarantee no one has had less. They’ve certainly had the least top 100 picks in that time period. Well they have the Falcons top-12 pick in 2026 and already have a stacked roster. They have a seriously good college and pro scouting operation. Quote

Those teams didn’t close the gap by drafting stars at the beginning of drafts (although the Eagle have a couple). Those teams just consistently hit on their picks. They built their rosters by scouting better. The Rams are going to be dangerous with that pick and their own. They are already really good. Maybe Stafford’s age starts to catch up but if not, they’re only going to get better. They are so well run. 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago 24 minutes ago, Saratoga Fan said: Elijah Moore the last two years with Cleveland Brown quarterbacks had 548 and 649 yds. This year with Josh Allen he has 112 yds. Joshua Palmer had over 580 yds each of the last two seasons. 769 the year before that. This year 272 so far. Either Josh is not a good qb (I doubt it) or with Brady as OC, it would not matter who the wide receivers are. I will be surprised if Brandon Cooks does well here unless Brady has some kind of magical epiphany. It is concerning but Moore was in a less crowded room and wasn’t contending for a lot of catches. Palmer the same, guys were often injured for the Chargers forcing them to lean on him. I will say, it isn’t Josh where the issues lay for me in terms of the production. It’s just that there isn’t anyone that great who they can lean on to step up. I think that’s what you saw with the propensity to force the ball Keon’s way after week 1. He made some great plays, looked like it might come together then couldn’t live up to the billing. I think Palmer could be a low end one on this team like you saw with Meyers with the Raiders. That isn’t to say Palmer is a number one by any means but he certainly has show the capability to be more involved and schemed in the passing game than he has. Maybe instead of getting everyone involved they key in on someone else other than Shakir whilst Kincaid is out. It hasn’t been working other than the broken tackle for the 60/70 yard TD a few games back and then the hook and ladder we just saw. Quote

Rams CRUSHED the 3rd Round lately Kam Kinchens Kobie Turner Byron Young Josiah Stewart To go with Fiske in the 2nd and obviously Jared Verse in the 1st. Absurd defensive hit rate. 1 Quote

Buffalo Ballin Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago Shouldn't have come to this. Beane is at fault. We're not riddled with injuries to the WR corp except for Kincaid. This is about a lack of talent. 1 Quote

Moore probably gets cut and is Samuel on IR? If he isn’t, just stash him there with Hardman and bring him back if it doesn’t work with Cooks or someone else gets hurt. Say what you want about Samuel, he's probably the best we got when it comes to getting 2 feet in-bounds in "gotta have it" moments (AFC championship game 4th down play last year, the juggling sideline catch a couple wks ago that I think he got hurt on, and I swear he's got one other too) Quote

In last two drafts the Rams and Bills both had six picks in top 100. Rams at 19, 39, 83, 99 46, 90 Bills at 33, 60, 95 30, 41 and 72. I see more higher picks on Rams side. So yeah think Rams draft position helps. Yet could counter point. Quote
ShakAttack Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago Does he play this week? Seems like Bills take forever to bring on new acquisitions during the season, but, we kinda need a spark on offense, which sounds weird to say being 2 weeks removed from Allen's 6 TD game. We might be putting too much into the situation while forgetting we approached the NFL's #1 defense with a ridiculously bad game plan on offense. That probably has more weight on the situation than anything else. Oh well. Quote

The Jokeman Posted 41 minutes ago Posted 41 minutes ago 1 hour ago, Jrb1979 said: As @Kirby Jackson posted in another thread. You don’t win because of the gap between Dawson Knox and Quentin Morris. You win because of the gap between George Pickens and Elijah Moore (or even Josh Palmer). Maybe that’s a good way of putting it. The Bills would rather have Knox and Palmer than Pickens and Morris. If you give them 4 players they’ll take the 2nd and 3rd best over the 1st and 4th. I just don’t think that’s a championship plan. That’s how Carolina was built too. They were both fortunate to get MVP QBs. You never trade a dollar for 4 quarters. Beane would trade 10 dollars for 40 quarters if offered. A fuller roster of B to D level talent isn't winning you a Super Bowl. It's great if that B level talent stays healthy but clearly it hasn't here in Buffalo. Look back on Biils starters opening day compared to playoff loss and bet several of our B level isn't there in the 2nd game. Quote
oldmanfan Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago Give it a shot. Veteran presence, still can motor. Put him , Palmer, Gabe, and Shakir out there and let’s go. Have to say I wish Coleman was a factor, but he must have seriously screwed the pooch in the locker room. Quote
boyst Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago We are about to have 8 f'n WR on the team and that's gross because the bottom list of them do not play special teams. That's a cardinal sin fireable offense I will pound the table over... Coleman should have been traded. Quote

I genuinely wonder if there's just some other variable or situation with Beane that we are completely unaware of. His whole perspective and approach to this has been god awful to the point of caricature. I do not know if any other GM in the league would have fumbled the whole situation as badly as him. Even dog water teams like the Raiders and Browns. It just makes no sense other than him like, not giving a ***** if we actually win a Super Bowl, which I guess at this point we have to consider is a legitimate possibility??? Quote
