On the first one, yeah you are right. Its so late in the season that I keep forgetting they haven't had a bye yet and I looked at the win column but not the loss column. Thats my bad.

Second one, Im not going to give you. IDGAF if some simulator says we can lose any 2 games and still have 99% chance to get in. We aren't even 99% chance now. Losing to Pitts gives them a tie breaker. Just this week alone, if we lost to Pitts and the Texans win, we would be pushed to 9th in the playoff picture. Yeah yeah, teams play other teams this and that, but overcoming 2 places in the race isnt easy to do in 5 games. Much less if we lost another one. They'd be relying on specific losses from other teams. No f'in way that puts us 99% chance to get in.

If we’re 11-6, we are getting in the playoffs.  Both Chiefs and Ravens have 5 losses, and we win tiebreakers over both.  Let’s say Ravens run the table to finish 12-5, well that means they beat the Steelers twice, and Steelers then finish 10-7 at best.  We’d still get into the playoffs over the Steelers.  That’s just one example of how these teams all still playing each other will make 11-6 just fine to get in.

That said, of all our games left, I would argue this helps our playoff chances the most, since Pittsburgh is one of the teams we’re competing against for a playoff spot.  It would definitely further boost our hopes if we can get this win.

Very impressive answers and attitude. I like this guy. I hope he produces on the field because if he does, our offense will look a lot different. Especially when Kincaid comes back

What an absolute moron.

We went from locking up the division very early in the season to this??

We certainly did this to ourselves haha but I don’t think it would’ve been possible to lock up the division super early with that pats schedule

would’ve probably had to be undefeated right now to even have a chance at that.  I think when the dust settles the pats will only have played two teams that finished with a winning record it’s absolutely insane.  Don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that.

The bills schedule is the baseline for very easy I’d say and the pats are just at a whole other level.  3 games going from some of the best teams in the league for the bills to some of the worst for the pats has a huge impact on the division race

They just replaced the full field sod a month ago so that’s pretty sad.

Our TE, FB, OL can have an advantage if the place is a slippery mud fest. But will we adapt and plan for it?  Should be lovely on highmark mud next year. Warm heated mud anyone?

I don't know if he will help us or not but this guy is absolutely a professional.

"Can't pass up the opportunity to play with Josh." Love that.

Yeah the narrative that he is an assh0le came from the fact that he got traded a lot.   He had a long career as a mid-league level WR1 so I think teams were always just making business decisions about his contract.  That's certainly why the Saints traded him the first time.  By all accounts he's always been a very professional player and good teammate.    I am not sure what impact he will have on the room arriving at the end of the season like this but the Bills have not had someone like him and with his credibility in the WR room since they drafted Coleman.  Certainly can't hurt, IMO.  Cooper was a great player but not a particularly positive influence.

The Bills desperately just need someone who can threaten a defense down field to keep them honest.

It would take an act of god for 10 wins to not do it I think…just too many other wildcard teams all playing eachother to keep us out.  There’s probably a better chance 9 wins gets us in than 10 wins keeps us out

Agree.........but I don't think it's him.   He's just a posession guy right now, IMO.

But as I've said in other threads,  this guy was a very successful WR1 running choice routes in an EP type system for years.   Like Allen said, he picked up the playbook immediately.   Should they decide to lean back into that Dorsey/Daboll stuff down the stretch they now have Cooks, Shakir and Davis who have all been there and done it.  Though Gabe wasn't particularly good at it so that will be a concern.

He pretty much only ran decoy go routes in NO this year and he was quite effective tbh.  One of those bills twitter guys had a video of a bunch of his reps

I honestly think shaheed might be struggling a bit in Seattle because rather than having a guy doing that for him he is probably being used as the guy for that 😂 Haven’t seen much of them since he got there though so that’s kinda a wild guess

Definitely can’t hurt. He’s far more accomplished than any receiver on the team and appears to have some juice left. Kind of an Emmanuel Sanders signing, who was at least decent for the Bills and still a high-level separator when he played for them.
