Kelly to Allen Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Someone give me hope I guess with Allen, and if we can get relatively healthy in a completely open AFC anything can happen? 🤷 Quote
schoolhouserock Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Silver lining: We held onto our draft capital through the trade deadline. The next GM will have a decent amount of picks to work with. 1 2 1 Quote

James Cook has emerged as an Elite RB who our OC is still trying to figure out how to utilize correctly. Dalton Kincaid has emerged as a borderline Elite TE and Josh's most trusted weapon and he wasn't on the field in Houston. 2 games back with Davis and Palmer and Josh is trying to reestablish chemistry... which looks close to there with Gabe. The 2025 draft looks like a HR. We're going to be in the playoffs and there's a very real possibility that for a team that's dealt with half a decade of playoff pressure that playing on the road might benefit them. Cole Bishop looks like an Elite Safety. We still have Josh Allen. Josh Allen Did I mention we have that Josh Allen guy? 4 1 1 Quote

gtw3 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago As mentioned, the AFC is wide open. The Texans loss can potentially help ensure KC doesn't get in, especially if they beat them in Arrowhead in a few weeks. The eternal optimist in me says (borderline delusionary) that we can get healthy come playoff time and go on a run. 1 Quote
RobbRiddick Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) "someone give me hope" In around a billion years the sun's luminosity will increase to such a level that it will lead to a runaway greenhouse effect, causing the evaporation of the oceans and rendering the earth uninhabitable. So every Bills loss, Patriots cheat and Chiefs win will become meaningless as there will be nobody alive to remember them. And if an alien race does one day come down and explore the dried up husk that is planet earth, when they research this strange game called football they will find there was once a player nicknamed Josh Alien, who they will assume was the first of their kind to visit the planet. he will be made their own version of Jesus and the Bills logo will be the symbol they wear on their chests like a superman sign (hey, he's also nicknamed superman - it all fits!). What will the aliens say when they see Allen playing in old highlights in conjunction with what they know about McDermott? 1 Quote

I have 2 other options: 1. Our atmosphere totally evaporates, leaving the scorched earth you mentioned 2. Our sun, a star, burns out, leaving us in darkness and ice. Of course, if the sun burns out, that may also eliminate its magnetism and the pull of planets in their orbits. Those of that survive may then find out if it’s all just space out there, or that the earth lands on something. Quote
Dan Darragh Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I find it encouraging that when Josh was hammered and was lying on the ground churning his legs in what looked like some sort of neurological injury, he was really OK and was saying to himself "just get through this game, then you can watch the premier of the Hallmark movie this weekend." 1 Quote

Psautcsk Posted 31 minutes ago Posted 31 minutes ago (edited) The Bills defense outplayed the Texans defense in the second half by only giving up 60 yards and only two first downs! It was complete domination. We had a 100 yard rusher against the best defense in football and converted a 4th and 27 which will probably never happen again. None of our wide receivers got injured in this game and maybe Keon Coleman will play against the Steelers. We will get to see how our backup right tackle can do against TJ Watt. What a great learning experience for that young man and what better way to prep him for Myles Garrett. That's all I got in my silver lining fantasy. Edited 21 minutes ago by Psautcsk Quote

BillMafia716ix Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago The team is 7-4. Everybody crying like they’re 4-7. But I guess that’s what happens when you do a lot of winning. We’ve gotten spoiled. Everything is still right in front of them. 1 Quote
