Allen wants to score a touchdown on every offensive possession, when we don't he feels that is a failure.

Me too.

imagine 6 TD Allen who also hits nearly every throw in a game.

That's basically 13 seconds game Allen.

I want KC here in the playoffs when it happens and we win 45-28 and the place is going nuts for the entire 4th quarter.

A six touchdown game and Josh still did leave some on the table

You will never hear that out of a six touchdown game in the NFL....

Josh says hold my beer.. we might see a 7-8 TD game one day

About 9 and a half minutes.

Regarding the recent and fairly unprecedented criticism of Josh after the Miami game, we all love him but also we've all seen him play better than he has this year.

The best is yet to come...

My take: Josh didn’t play well, actually, but he did play great. If that makes any sense!

Well for starters - If he had completed the two point XP to Gilliam, he would have Had 3 passing TD's, a passing XP, and 3 rushing TD's.

You can win a whole lot more games if you prevent your opponent from scoring than attempting to outscore them every game.  Complimentary football gives you a much better chance to win. Case in point the 1990s Bills teams, we had Thurman and Jim as key cogs on the offense and we routinely beat Marino and Dolphins. Why? In part because the Dolphins let Marino be Marino and never give him a RB of Thurman's status to compliment him.

yeah well our Defense sucks so…

Hard to imagine, but he could’ve wound up with 8 TD’s had just a few more reads/throws been on point…dude’s floor is others’ make believe career days! 😝

We have had more than a few games where we will never know how much Allen and/or Cook could have run up a score

With a faster start it would have likely ended up as another game where Allen watches from the bench while Trubuski mopped up.

So minimize mistakes by the offense and put defense in less of a position to step up aka complimentary football.

Nobody plays perfect football. Sure, limit the turnovers. That doesn't mean go into small ball snail mode. More possessions = more opportunities to score = more room for error. When you are a flawed football team and you limit your own possessions then you are just giving yourself less room for error and more need to play mistake free football.

Defenses love teams that try 10-15 play 7-10 min drives because it gives them more opportunity to create a mistake for the offense they face. This is the backbone of McD's defense... keep plays in front of you and make them grind out drives so you can get them to make a mistake. Its a mistake to do that to ourselves.

I completely agree he was off, but I’ll give him a pass.  😁

Some of the issues were him trying way too hard early.  I think there were game plan adjustments, such as RB passes and down field throws.  Remember that Josh hasn’t really had a downfield passing attack since Brady became OC.

I think Houston is in for a surprisingly hard game despite their good defense.  I think Brady, Josh and McD have finally decided to unleash the offense with the returns of Davis and Palmer and we’ll be the better for it.

I think a lot of it is was:

No Kincaid.

Almost an entire “new” WR group/combo

Palmer hasn’t played a full game since New England.

Shavers increased role.

Hardman.

Welcome back Gabe.

No Keon.

A TE I never heard of.

Find a QB that gets handed THAT and does what Josh did.
