BillsPride12 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago When I was growing up we had a good friend of my family who was a good guy and liked sports etc but wasn't the most knowledgeable fan and liked to talk out of his a$$ sometimes. Once proclaimed Maxim Afinogenov was the next Wayne Gretzky sometime in the early 2000s(true story) Thanks OP for bringing back that memory today 3 Quote

But honest question: Was that because of his skill or Buc DBs blowing assignments? Shavers good game is encouraging, but even Keon had a good game once. True But, Keon hasn't had his work ethic or maturity EVER brought up in a positive light A car with no gas is just a mobile home with no heat 😃 1 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I need to know why Coleman is deserving of being in the lineup over Shavers at this point. They literally are nearly identical in terms of size, speed, vertical, etc... The only difference is one guy actually gets open and produces and one guy doesn't. How do they justify putting Coleman back in over Shavers or Davis at this point? Quote

IDC about Tampa’s bad pass defense. The Fins & Falcons both stifled Allen and they aren’t exactly world beaters. That is true but trust me the Tampa defensive backfield is a mess. Quote

Next year is a different story, but knowing this team, and seeing the WR predicament we are in. Hes in great shape to see playing time and meaningful snaps. Hes not going to find a better place than where hes currently at to rehab his image and show what hes got. Have to imagine Bills have msde it clear to him, and they feel confident hed refuse getting poached! Theoretically, I believe he could. But it would be kind of unheard of for a player to turn down active roster money for a Practice Squad paycheck. Especially since he can only be activated 2 more times over the next 7 games. So he'd have to be willing to potentially only play 2 games over the next 7 and be paid Practice Squad money for 5 of those weeks versus guaranteed active roster money the rest of the way. Ultimately, we need him the rest of the way and I don't think they'd put him in a position to turn down more guaranteed money for less from us. I'm pretty sure that they'd just put him on the roster right away if someone tried to sign him, as that would be the right thing to do. Quote

Buffalo716 Posted 53 minutes ago Posted 53 minutes ago (edited) Shavers can 100% be a late bloomer who the light is clicking with Allen He works hard , says the right things... Has size , deceptive speed... Run routes hard , works in scramble drill He was a big prospect down in Texas back in the day ... Started at Alabama Obviously became more known for his special teams.. but his receiver ability was there... The adage goes it always takes two to tango... Maybe he finally got his dancing partner 1 minute ago, The Firebaugh Kid said: Shavers 4.3 Keon 4.6 Shavers ran a wind aided 4.38 in high school Was in the 4.5s pro day.. he does have good long speed Edited 53 minutes ago by Buffalo716 Quote

Chaos Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago (edited) Samuel, Moore. They will never get better. And they don't produce much now. Against Miami, I did not think Coleman even looked like a legit NFL player, let alone a WR1 or WR2. However Coleman is only 21. I don't know why he missed meetings, I don't know what is going on in his life. A 24 year old in Dallas decided life wasn't worth living last week. At 21 Coleman is eligible to improve. I probably hang on to him over some others. Edited 39 minutes ago by Chaos 1 Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted 22 minutes ago Posted 22 minutes ago What a strange coincidence. I was thinking Shavers reminded me more of Lynn Swann 1 Quote

Shaw66 Posted 9 minutes ago Posted 9 minutes ago I liked how he played the ball on the touchdown catch. It wasn't a perfect throw but he had his eyes on the ball all the way and got his hands in a really good catching position. It was nicely done. It's the kind of play of professional pass catcher makes. That was encouraging. Last week someone said his his blocking is always good. It was interesting that on Johnson's touchdown catch, he followed the play all the way down the field and got in the way of the last possible tackler. That was just solid at football, doing your job. 1 1 Quote

Agreed on everything How he tracked the football on his scramble drill and caught it with his hands while shielding himself from a hit was everything you want to see Quote
