Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted yesterday at 09:29 PM Posted yesterday at 09:29 PM Just read an article on ESPN website where McDaniel is giving a big thank you to Dan Quinn as they are playing Washington this week so he brought it up. Apparently 10 years ago Quinn was the main driver, also mention Kyle Shanahan and Raheem Morris in getting McDaniel sober when they were all in Atlanta and he said he hasn't drank since. Don't recall any of this, but likely because 10 years ago McDaniel was an unknown in the league. 2 Quote
BillsShredder83 Posted yesterday at 09:32 PM Posted yesterday at 09:32 PM Yeah its been out there. Good for him too! Hes easy to pick on, and an awful HC, but hes a likeable dude and likely still a very good OC. Guess we'll see... maybe more than we even realize 3 8 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM If the guy had a problem a decade ago, and has never had a problem since, it’s a private issue. I’ve dealt with people who had past issues, and if he’s moved past it, leave the guy alone. I’m not crazy about the trolling thing from Sunday, but it’s really trivial. 3 2 Quote
Blackbeard Posted yesterday at 09:41 PM Posted yesterday at 09:41 PM McDaniel seems like a decent dude. Kinda funny I find him. The drive by thing, if it was really him, is hysterical. 4 2 Quote

Dick_Cheney Posted yesterday at 09:43 PM Posted yesterday at 09:43 PM I think if he was in the NFC we'd all collectively agree he is awesome lol. 1 Quote

zow2 Posted yesterday at 09:55 PM Posted yesterday at 09:55 PM That's all cool. Mike McDaniel still sounds like he's slurring his words in his pressers. He just sounds wasted more often than not, to me. 1 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Wait, he designs those plays sober? Just a joke. Good on him for turning it around. 1 Quote

I actually like McDaniel... he doesn't fit the prototype of the Dan Campbells but I'm glad that a guy like he can find a niche in the NFL. One of the interesting thing about McDaniel is that he seems like a really intelligent guy but he speaks really poorly... just proof that those two things don't always go hand in hand. Also, the capris are ridiculous. 3 1 Quote

I thinl last week was much more about the Bills losing than the Dolphins suddenly morphing into the best team in the NFL. A loss like the first New England game, I dont think they "won" it , more like we lost it. Sad to say, the common denominator in both cases was the mistakes made by the one and only Josh Allen. 1 2 Quote
BuffaloMatt Posted yesterday at 10:12 PM Posted yesterday at 10:12 PM Looks like he is closet drinking. IMO Quote

90sBills Posted yesterday at 10:15 PM Posted yesterday at 10:15 PM I like McDaniels. One of the few guys in the NFL, players or coaches, that I can legitimately beat up in a fight. No hate. 3 Quote

Yeah, no booze but ganja is OK. Technically it's supposed to be using cannabis while avoiding all addictive substances (alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, etc) but I think there's also a lite version. 6 minutes ago, Disgusted ills fan said: California sober? I know his buddy, stand up comedian Dan Soder, who got sober around the same time, is exactly that. Edited yesterday at 10:32 PM by Shortchaz 1 1 Quote
