Whomever called that pay needs to be sat down and explained how down and distance work.

Whomever called that play again after showing the other team the plan before a timeout needs to find a new job.

it was not 3 and 1 it was freaking 4 and 1

After running a play action fake during the timeout being called.  Finesse game play with finesse effort.  They are a running team.  Why not do what you did vs KC and Carolina?  I put alot of the blame on the coaches and Qb.  Seemed like Allen wanted a 300 yard game and he got it eventually.

Are you for real with this take?

And the crazy thing is McDaniel called the timeout because he smelled the rat. And they run it anyway! Total fail.

Other teams do it and it works.  We suck at trick plays for some reason.

yeah it works against us. it's because our coaching staff are trash and they have zero game day presence

In what world would a fake tush push pass play that's not a quick hitter ever work?

In a short-yardage situation where the "tush push" is likely, the secondary is never actively focused on coming up to support the run. They won't be "deceived" to crash the LOS because they are not part of the initial defensive push.

So is Brady slow?  Why would he think this is a play that would ever work?

The thing that infuriates me is that they had to practice at some point during the year and noone on this staff or even a player questioned it?

Like really?  Wtf

**Disclaimer: If the All22 comes out and shows that this was suppose to be a quick hitter pass play that Josh didn't end up throwing, my apologies**

Here's the All-22 of the play. I think it was supposed to be a pass to Cook out of the backfield, but Miami covered it. From there, the play was broken

Your concern is the play over the fact that Brady lost the element of surprise, but ran the damn play anyways???

If that's doesn't show how inept he is, I don't know what does.

A typical Brady mind fart where he tries to prove he’s smarter than everyone else. Take the easy 95% successful fkn play

Joe Brady waits until the most important spots of a close game.  Then instead of going with what works 80-90% of the time, he pulls out the most ridiculous trick play in his arsenal.  Almost every time, it appears the offense hasn't actually practiced it either.  So not only does it fail... it fails spectacularly, and becomes one of the key momentum swings for the other team.

If you are going to try fooling someone off a tush push, the best thing to do is just sneak a different gap than what you usually show on tape.  Keeping a defense off balance doesn't need to be rocket science.

Miami watched the film of the game last week against KC when they threw the ball to Cook out of the same formation to get a key first down on 3rd and 3 late in the 4th. Good on them and bad on Brady for being so predictable basically all game long.

The real brain fart was when they lined up BEFORE the time out. The Dolphins inexplicably had nobody over the left guard. Josh should have immediately ‘goosed’ the center and walked for the first down. But like most of the day….he was a deer in the headlights.

This was infuriating.... in what world do you call that crap twice in a a row with our dominant oline? After McDaniels snuffed it out and called a TO, you line up big and push it for a 3yd gain.

Jesus, could they have telegraphed that more? We weren’t even in our normal tush push formation. Miami never even crashes the line like it will be a running play.

Sometimes I wonder about Brady…
