uticaclub Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago As long as he says "no *****" before there shouldn't be an issue Quote
Udubalum07 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago The fact that even teams like KC, Miami (who would have made a lot more sense), the Cowboys (where character was never much of a prerequisite), and Philly (they are loading up on defense at the deadline) have all not touched him tells me all I need to know. I think he is a great talent and at this point, he is so out there that no locker room wants to give him a shot, or he took his guaranteed money and has ran, deciding he doesn't want to play anymore. Or most other teams from the looks of it. Luckily he's more of a thumb-in guy. If he were a shoe-in, Josh would still be walking funny. 1 Quote
JP51 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Conflicted here... I will say this when the dude played hard he was a freaking menace... I would prefer a Calais Campbell steady leader guy... but this dude clearly brings the nasty... if it can be controlled... I mean... rental type guy... give it a shot... i dunno... Quote

The “control” can only come from one place; Wilkins himself. And he has shown ZERO ability to do so. Prep time is short enough as it is and pro organizations don’t have the time nor the responsibility to babysit during the week. Hard pass on this clown. Quote

Not gonna lie, feel a little dirty about even being conflicted.... but in the end if they feel like they can control him and he helps us get a SB i am not above being a little greasy... question is does he... look at his body of work....not good in the behavior dept.... thus I am conflicted... same reason I didnt want Pickens... L Ron Burgundy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Yes sign him if possible. Eagles got much better. We got worse because of injuries. Talk to him about last chance blah blah blah. Quote
HappyDays Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago This is the kind of move where I'll be mad if some other contender does it, but if no one does it that tells you something is seriously wrong with his health and/or his behavior and I won't blame Beane for steering clear. 1 Quote

Shortchaz Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Dude has been publicly exposed and humiliated, deserves a shot to show if he’s learned anything. I don’t have a problem with giving him a shot on a cheap short leash *it’s odd to me that no other team has given him a shot **the type of move that, as a fan, I’d like to see but doesn’t exactly factor in the whole “culture” aspect. Purely a football perspective Edited 5 hours ago by Shortchaz Quote
