This is one of the biggest trap games I have ever seen for the following reasons:

1) Tua is done. Finished. He should not even be playing.

2) The Bills need this game. They are not even in first place in the AFC East.

3) Miami's coach will be fired sooner than later. They can't wait to dump him.

4) The Dolphin's season is over. They have nothing to gain by winning, and might even lose out on a QB by doing so.

So yes, it is a trap imo. It looks too easy and if every game that looks this easy was a winner, none of us would ever have  to work. Now, do I think they the Bills will cover the 9 1/2? I do. I think that the line should be somewhere around 17. Would I be shocked if they win by 3? Not really. I will probably make a small bet on the Bills but that is it.

Sorry for the rant. I suppose this post was just me thinking out loud. :)

Oh Bill. Trap implies one team is taking it lightly and your own post states the obvious…the Bills must win this game. No divisional game is a trap. Could the Bills lose? Sure, but it will not be the result of them overlooking the opponent.

I was at that game, sitting in the sun the whole time just like the players and it was unbearable. I cannot imagine how hot it would be in a helmet and uniform. I suspect conditions will be way better this week than back in Sept 2022.

Honestly thought the Bills or NFLPA would have weighed in on a dangerous situation.   Diggs had 2 IVs iirc. Tommy Doyle played with a damaged knee because there were no other linemen to go in.  Could have been Corey Stringer event in the making.

Unfortunately, as I will say every time someone brings this nonsense up, trap games DO NOT EXIST.  Statistically disproven every single way you could ever disprove something statistically.

No, that is your definition of a trap. Mine is when the bookmakers try to influence bettors to go in a certain direction. You really should stop coming off as all knowing, whereas you have made a fool of yourself on this board more often than not.

I'm still not sure if I believe in trap games, but I will say this.  I've seen it many, MANY times in my life, where a team coming off a huge win the week before, comes out flat the following week.  Hoping that isn't the case Sunday.  I expect a big Bills win though.

Go Bills!!!!!

Wonder how many guys are REALLY injured vs. taking some rest this week.  It is Miami ya know 😉

I would be tempted to entertain this more if we didn't lost to the Pats and Falcons. Both were easily there for the taking and they botched it. The team has proven they don't deserve rest weeks.

Yes and it sounds like a month away type of vibe ...

Hopefully we get Palmer back to 100% again in the next week or two and if we get a healthy and inspired Gabe back in time for a playoff push/run, that would be great.

Cheers, Bill!  Have a great evening!

I just want to say, I love you guys and the best thing about this message board, is that we can have disagreements and a variety of opinions, but at the end of the day, we all love our Bills and this is such a great community of posters here (can anyone say run on sentence??).  By far the most informative NFL message board AND the most respectful that I've ever come across.  Glad to be a part of something special here and look forward to one day celebrating a Super Bowl victory right here with all each and every one of you.

That said, SQUISH THE FISH!!!!!

That would be perfect because Big Game Gabe is a thing. As long as he can get ready for the playoffs, I'll take it. And hopefully we get to hear Nantz at least one more time "It is DAAAA-VISSSSSS!!"
