With Logue, who I thought played well and Phillips on the PS, it wouldn't shock me if they don't see a need at DT. I expect Logue to take Oliver's spot on the 53 man roster once he's placed on IR, likely sometime this week.

Let Hancock and Bishop roll! Max in the mix is nice, i wouldn't shun a mid level corner known for durability. DT we have enough working unless something juicy comes along^^ fully agree with you!!

We injected some youth, let the kids show what they got. Dumb the damn dumb defense down if you g2!

Call these teams and put in SERIOUSSS offers for WR, that signal seriousness.

Two 1st's + 3rd for Addison is my starting point (i want some replacement late round picks back, 6th/7th nothing crazy). Potentially willing to send Coleman back, but initial offer needs tweaking. Hes someone id want in a player for player position swap!!

Minny want escalators for Addison production? SB appearance or win? Done. More than fair. Hes a high value prospect, kick their door in and show them youre more serious.

Its expensive? It hurts? Look at the sunken costs we've had trying to find an answer... while still not having the answer.

Im all for the "buy it once, buy it for life". If you gotta mske a cross country trip with a trunk full of drugs, are you going to trust a Daewoo Lanos Express? To keep a few extra bucks in your pocket?

First, I need to make the trip. Everything else is secondary. Im not trying to get pulled over because my tints peeling, I got a dancing bears logo on my bumper, my friend gave me a $200 paint job from IG, worrying about getting towed, sleeping at Crack head motels. JUST SAY NO

Priority one, safe trip. No surprises. Handle your biz. Jordan Addison helping Beane keep that Columbian pipeline rippin'... so to speak

Inflation is always good. The cap is exploding YOY and we soon will play 20 games a year on the way to 25 games. Records will fall. History will be written by the victors.

Like many here, I'm hoping... PRAYING...for Beane to make some moves in the next week and shore up our WR and Safety spot. And now after losing Big Ed yesterday, possibly the DT spot. I mean, overpay at this point if you have to. Do SOMETHING.

But glancing around the NFL at the teams with records that would normally be "sellers" this time of year shows that there may not be teams willing to move players. In the AFC the bottom feeders are:

- The Jets and Dolphins. I really don't see either team lining up to trade anyone of value to a division rival. Yes, teams do at times trade within the division. But it's very unlikely they would send us a Waddle or Wilson at the WR spot to have to face them twice a year.

- Cleveland. This is a team that should be selling whatever it can. Jerry Jeudy has a big dead cap hit if they move him.

- Cincinnati and Baltimore. Both teams have talked themselves into still being in it. Baltimore may have a shot. I think Cincinnati is fooling themselves thinking they can make it til Burrow comes back. But neither team is a big seller right now.

- Raiders. Possibly the only team really looking to move a WR, and that's not 100%. Supply and demand have a big gap this year, so them getting a haul for Jakobi Meyers isn't out of the question.

- Tennessee. They have begun moving players, sending McCreary to the Rams. They have been firm that DT Simmons is NOT available. Trouble is they don't have much else. Calvin Ridley has been hurt.

Looking at the NFC, It doesn't get better.

Giants- probably should be selling but both Schoen and Daboll are probably fighting for their jobs. Now with losing Skattabo a long with Malik earlier in the year, it doesn't look good for them.

Saints- Have reportedly told teams Olave is staying put. But they are a cupboard that can and probably will be raided. One of Shaheed or Cooks are probably on the move.

Cardinals - Another team that should be selling what they can. Problem is aside from maybe Budda Baker...what else do they have? I don't see them moving Harrison, and their next best receiver is probably Zay Jones. Yes, that Zay Jones.

Is there another team out there that should be selling? Probably the Vikings, but I think they land in the same camp the Ravens and Bengals are with the whole "fake it til we make it" outlook.

All in all, I expect this to be a pretty quiet week leading up to the trade deadline for all teams. The buyers definitely out number the sellers.

This is also a good chance to remind people, that even if the Bills make zero trades, that doesn't mean Beane wasn't on the phone attempting to make a move or three. It just means no deals were struck. I have confidence Beane and company are shopping as much as possible. But after looking around, the shelves may just be bare.

We ain't getting guys like Waddle or Wilson, division rival or not.

We're not in position to pay what would be necessary, either as trade bait or against the cap. Give up on this idea seriously. Not that it's totally impossible. But it wouldn't make sense. It's what a lot of people want but it just isn't very realistic.

Think mid-level guys. And there are plenty of good players available in that areas, guys like Budda Baker or at the high end, Shaheed or Olave.

Totally agree with you that he's on the phone sounding guys out even if nothing ends up happening.

Dolphins, Jets, Ravens maybe, Browns, Raiders, Saints, Titans, Cardinals are likely sellers, and there is some talent there.

I'm sorry, did you say TWO 1st's and a 3rd... for Jordan Addison?!

I mean, I like Addison. But that's insane. Tyreek Hill went for a 1st, a 2nd, 2 4th's, and a 6th in 2022. We got Stefon Diggs in 2020 for a 1st, a 5th, and a 6th. Addison isn't 2020 Diggs or 2022 Tyreek.

I get the idea of trying to blow someone away with a trade. But if we're trading away multiple 1st's and a 3rd - it had better be a Top 10 WR1 in the league. That would be a major overpay. That's like a Quarterback trade.

I'm with you. It's gotten so bad we are looking at the term "Gabe Davis, WR1" as something to hope for. The same Gabe Davis we all knew wasn't even a WR2. And coming off a knee injury to boot.

Gabe was a #2. Before the injury, anyway.

And no, nobody is thinking he's a WR1.

Imagine selecting DT Dwayne Carter in round 3 -2024, DT T.J. Sanders round 2- 2025 and DT Deone Walker round 4-2025 and still maybe trading for a DT before the deadline yet these guys refuse to get Allen any sort of weapon since Stefon Diggs. Oh and signing free agent DT Larry Ogunjobi who missed 6 games for PED's.

Sigh. Kincaid, Shakir and Josh Palmer say hi.

Yeah, we get it, no true #1 WRs there, but those are absolutely three weapons.

I've always been of the opinion that outside KC the biggest deterrent that's really hurt the Bills road to the SB is the elimination of the bye for the #2 seed.

This is a great point. Extra money for the NFL. But a huge and unfair advantage for the #1 seed.

Shakir is the only one who seems to be able to be available.  Bills WR room is one of the worst in the NFL, if not the worst.  It’s bottom 5 definitely

It can be looked at in another way:

C Olave, J Addison, C Ridley (remember D Adams out w a hammy last year), J Jeudy, and J Meyers - all seem like possibilities.

simmons only one i am really interested in. If they stay put with wr group, just some coaching/play calling adjustments and they should be fine, and can mostly let james cook and lean on TE if necessary. It will come down to playcalling and adjustments.

Exactly.  You watch teams like the Niners and they scheme their receivers open.

Meyers, definitely. If not likely after the Lockett addition yesterday.

Olave is not. Everyone under the sun, between the team and reporters have said he won't be traded. Beyond that, it's been reported that the Saints and Olave are working towards an extension. There was a possibility if he rebuffed their advances they'd move him. But he isn't doing that. Shaheed or Cooks is a different story.

Jordan Addison? I don't know where all the talk of him is coming from. Is it just that they're a losing franchise? Bc no one of substance is talking about a potential Addison trade. Just "what if" scenarios from randos.

The sound of silence is stressing me for some reason- I know this org doesn’t really have leaks like it used to with upcoming moves but we gotta do something….right?

sad part is we need a lot more then just something

It does seem like Olave may be unlikely, but just because the team is saying something doesn't make it a lock to happen - New Orleans has a severe cap and QB problems.

I hope Beane isn't gunshy because of the A Cooper somewhat diappointing results, and his prior public comments on the WR room.

I would like to see a move for Ridley.
