People who are saying the team that loses this game will miss the playoffs are not paying attention to the rest of the AFC. It’s bad. Bills and KC will be there at the end regardless of this Sunday’s outcome.

Looking at Snap Counts, Reid didn't mess around.  Rice 59/69 snaps, Worthy 58/69 snaps, Kelce 58/69 snaps.  None of this "who's on first" Bills seem to be enamored with.

The Eagles didn't have any trouble harassing Mahomes. They are weak this year. You play them the way are, trash.

Smith isn't good enough in pass protection to be trusted for a larger work load currently.

Let me know when we have the best DT duo in the league. Instead of the current reality when we have a bunch of rookies and a fringe FA guy playing in his 2nd game with the team.

Who was Mahomes throwing to in that game? Worthy and Rice weren’t there. And the still could’ve won if Kelce didn’t bobble a pass at the goal line.

Pretty sure if the Bills had Rice, Worthy, and Kelce all healthy they wouldnt be doing the "whos on first" act trying to find someone, anyone to step up as a pass catcher.

Why is everyone ignoring the remaining schedule of KC and Buffalo. Neither of these teams can afford to lose this game. There are likely more losses coming. The sense of urgency needs a serious shot in the arm now. Not later.

 

With the way KC is playing right now, the Bills need to smell the blood in the water and attack. Mahomes has struggled all season. Get after him and force him to make mistakes.

There is a vast difference in ability to escape the pocket between end of career Andy Dalton (who looked happy to just get included in the game) and prime Mahomes. This should be obvious.

They started slow but have been on a heater since the Detroit game. I think you’re miscalculating this team if you think they’re struggling the last few weeks.

True, but what many are suggesting is that we play the same boring, contain the QB defense, that we've played repeatedly with poor results. The difference between KC and Buffalo is an ability to adapt and change. Buffalo has a real problem with this.

 

I'm thinking that all of these recent additions to our defense is going to be a serious problem for KC. Our defense has been transformed and the coach needs to cut them loose. KC won't know what hit them.

Agree. We’re catching Chiefs at a bad time. But at least we’re at home; short week for them; Pacheco hobbled at best; our D seems to be coming on w a lot of new faces and energy. As others noted, need to have a solid plan B and C if Cook gets shut down. I expect a dogfight type of game. For years it’s been like a divisional game since we play them so often. Allen needs to be smart and sharp and use his legs if necessary. Go Bills!

They held Detroit, consensus top team in the league at that time, to 17 points while scoring 30 on them. I guess in your book that just means they have a pulse. Everybody’s got a take I guess.

Yeah they have turned it around. It doesn’t mean Bills can’t win. I actually expect the Bills to win this game at home. It should be a good game.

I wonder what the odds were that when the Bills and Chiefs played this week that neither of them would be leading their own division. 

 

As it sits this week, this game has more implications to the Wild Card round then it does to the number one seed. Or course, things can change over time and probably will, but this is where this game is at this week.

If the Bills lose to the Chiefs.

The Chargers beat the Titans.

The Jags beat the Raiders.

 

...the Bills will fall into the 8th spot and out of playoff position due to conference record tie breakers with the Chargers and Jags.

 

How this differs from Miami in '23 is that we were trailing Miami, but had already beaten phins at home.  New England has already beaten us in our barn before we play them again.

 

Weird and annoying this NFL world...The Bills are 5-2, but a game and half back in their own division.  Meanwhile the Ravens have won for only the second time all season and are 2 games out of first place in their division.

That's the parity of the NFL. NE is playing a 4th place schedule, and their record shows it (not to say that aren't good (they are), but they also benefit from a very, very light schedule).

and everyone nationally will do the "yeah but" thing, which means nothing right now because there is no guarantee we even play them in the playoffs.
