I think Allen actually gets roughing the passer calls much more than Mahomes.

Mahomes is the absolute king of ticky tacky defensive holding on third down though, so get ready for a couple of those.

Or the time honored “ illegal contact” foul on 3rd and 10plus. A nice cheap first down to keep things moving in the right direction.

I can deal with a loss if there are signs of life/improvement from the offense and defense. That is most important. I expect the Bills to win the division and compete for the 1 seed regardless of Sunday's outcome.

If the Bills lose on Sunday, the Patriots with their cottony-soft schedule will be decided favorites to win the AFCE…and you can forget about the 1 seed.

Good luck tomorrow folks.

That ChRefs team is a combo that is hard to beat.

And no, I am not being sarcastic.  I mean it.

If not the 1, it doesn’t matter. The Bills have been everything but, and still to no avail. Another AFCE title is meaningless at this point in JA’s career. It’s doubtful they were going to end up the 1 seed anyway, even with all the preseason speculation. It will probably be the Chiefs or possibly the Colts in the coveted slot for the post season.

I think the Pats have a legit shot at the 1 seed.  They will be favored in all their remaining games, except possibly vs Bills and at Tampa.  I also expect them to make a splash deal at the trade deadline, with all their cap space…

They do have a shot at it. They look like a slightly above average team to me, might be capable of winning a playoff game if everything goes right for them.

Which is hilarious, because it is usually caused by Kelce bull rushing some poor LBer or nickel corner and pushing off at the top of his route. Somehow that is illegal contact instead of OPI.

My thinking exactly, FWIW. Probably for a receiver we have been clamoring for, just to rub our noses in it, because that is how the Pats operate.

Absolutely expect Tre to get called for this twice.

People are forgetting that we have tough schedule coming up…Bucs, Eagles, @ NE, @ Pittsburgh, @ Texans, Bengals…Even if we beat KC, we’ll be hard-pressed to finish better than 12-5.

Pats on QB rook $ deal. Bills fans have 3 more years where pats go UP in skill.

If I’m NE, I’d go all-in this year and make a play for Hendrickson and  a WR…gotta take advantage of the massive window created by having a franchise QB on a rookie contract…

I don’t understand this comment.  Winning the division gets you a home playoff game.  It’s not about saying “we won the east”. It’s about the home playoff game.

this group has never won a road playoff game.  So I would say it’s kind of important to win the division.

I see 10-7 , 11-6 as probably the best this team is capable of. Funny how in August we had what was probably the easiest road schedule in the league.

It’s really not important. At least  I’ve read so on this very board. Isn’t it true though, that division titles and home playoff wins have become passe since Josh Allen became elite around 2020 or so? As our expectations have legitimately climbed to Super Bowl level, the importance of anything less has diminished. If the Bills cannot win a road playoff game then we are simply spinning our wheels. I’ll admit I don’t even care that much about an AFCE title anymore ( I used to for sure) and am much more in the “prove it “camp these days. We’ve lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs both home and away.

Maybe. If they manage it well and have good drafts.
