zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think the AFC is 6-0 against NFC teams this week. This game and Wash/KC tomorrow remain. Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago So far Doubs has dropped 2 and Kraft has dropped 1. In a game this close, one team having 3 drops is big. Quote
Watkins90 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I hate underthrown balls being PI. It isn't the DB's fault that the QB couldn't get enough power on the ball to get it there. Quote
Einstein Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Green Bay has not impressed me Metcalf bodied that DB Quote
Watkins90 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Collinsworth, the head fake, did literally nothing. Metcalf just used his big body to shield Nixon from knocking the ball down. My god. Quote
billsfan714 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) That is a big man DK.. Edited 2 hours ago by billsfan714 Quote
zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago That pass was perfect. Rodgers could not have run over and planted that ball in DK’s chest any better 1 Quote
QCity Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Metcalf makes that look easy. Edited 2 hours ago by QCity Quote

There are people here who know football better than I and that insist that the cornerbacks are coached to not look back for the ball. I would not coach this way and one reason is because not looking back makes the defender more susceptible to this sort of PI situation. And how can you break up a pass or intercept a ball if you're not looking for it? Quote

We’ve seen it a few times today not called, but the DB must turn his head around and look at the ball. thats probably in the secret ref handbook Quote

Run backwards to let the WR get back to the ball? Quote

The league has said that if the DB is looking for the ball, then that isn't DPI because he is playing the ball and not the man. 1 1 Quote

I don't know what you're suggesting. What I'm saying is that if a defender is looking back for the ball, he's less likely to run into the receiver. Quote
