A 2nd is a high price, but probably gets it done easily.  A 3rd and you have to throw in a decent player with the likelihood that the Bills will be in the later part of round 3?  I don't like the idea of trading many pieces but Samuel or Moore would make sense on the offensive side.  I think there is a chemistry issue with Lawrence.  Maybe its not the right move, but the talent is there and the price is right.  It will take time getting on the same page with Josh if a trade is made, but I can definitely see this working out for the Bills.

Hopefully this is in the works, but I won't hold my breath.

I don't think the Jags are accepting your offers. I'd gladly do either of those from a Bills perspective, bite your hand off!

Did you drink some of the Jags stadium pool water?

"Yet another year" like last years MVP season!  LOL

Did he really have that great of a receiving core last season? Are you expecting 2 straight MVP seasons with what he has?

wrong, they are required to do something, and you do do it every single time.

I just wanted to argue, carry on.

I have received like 10 thumbs Downs in this thread and I did it once because I wanted to hear his opinion

Have a nice day

I have no idea if he’s on the block or not but either way a coach or GM is never going to say “yes” to that question when asked by the media. Never!

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not going to trade receiver Brian Thomas

are you mssing this line? with the word not in it?

My reading comprehension is pretty good.  You should read the HC’s quote.  There is a difference between “not” and “no plans.”

You keep saying that they said "no plans" when the article says the word "NOT" in it. That's what I keep trying to point out

You should stop calling people out that thumbs down your posts. Sometimes people might not agree but they don’t want to get into a length discussion. Nor should they be required to do so.

When you respond negatively to a take you have involved yourself in a discussion whether you like it or not.   If you really don't want to discuss it.......then you don't have to respond to being called out.   Fact.   If it's going to hurt your feelings to be called out then don't involve yourself to begin with.   This should be common sense.  I know  more people grow up without fathers nowadays but c'mon.  You shouldn't need a slap in the head to figure this dynamic out.

The quote is what it is.  I read “no plans.”

Awful take. Can you imagine this place if every poster had skin so thin they had to call out somebody who gave them a thumbs down. If I had to guess it's probably pretty easy to see your veins.

I would trade for BTJ in a heartbeat, even if he isn't the guy he was last year and somewhere between that guy and the guy this year, the mere threat of him has value to this team from the outside position.

BUT - The trade from the outside looking in makes no sense to the Jags.  They still have 2 1/2 years on his rookie deal and an optional year after that.  They just traded a bounty to get Hunter to pair with him, they have very little in the WR behind those 2, and Hunter isn't even a full time WR.  Not to mention the gazillion dollar over pay to fake TD Jesus where they need to keep as many weapons for him to try and salvage that awful contract they gave him.

Now the HC is saying they aren't trading him (yes I know the whole semantics game being played here to keep "hope" alive), and he last said that emphatically about Eitenne when everyone was certain he was getting traded in the preseason and they did not trade just like they said.  Instead they traded Tank.

Right now, I think the reality is BTJ is not being traded, and even though I (like many) were all in on trying to get him if he was "available", the reality is most of these stories are total BS from the get go.  Someone gets word one team called about a guy, even if rebuffed, now the story is the team is "fielding calls for X player".  It happens all the time, and its almost always nonsense or exaggerated to get clicks.

IMHO - Not only is he not coming here, he isn't going anywhere.

DISCLAIMER:  If he does end up getting traded anyway and it doesn't atleast come out that we tried to get in on him, then Benae will have to answer for that as he is a no brainer go and get guy for what this team lacks from all angles - type of player, position, skill set, and contract is a rookie deal.

Then give it a thumbs down.   Why call poor innocent me out like that?  😉

Maybe you don't understand the difference between a thumbs down and a disagree.   There is a reason they are different.  The down is a less civil and subsequently elevating version of disagreeing.   And you don't think that even involves you in the discussion?   You're wrong.  Obviously.   Common sense.  It was an awful take on your part hence the thumbs down.
