Hire Ryan Fitzpatrick as a part time consultant

Allen is in his 7th season now. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a highly intelligent football knowledgeable retired NFL QB that spent many years playing under Chan Gailey. Business minded and could help the organization in many ways. Example : Fitzpatrick is touring the Bills new stadium. Discussion about where the snow melt goes develops and Fitz comments why not purify some of the snow melt and sell it to the Bills mafia? (not word for word) Brilliant idea IMO. Few minutes into the tour Fitzy's mind is already working on ways to make the franchise $$$$. Delight the Bills faithful. Fitzpatrick knows how the Offensive Guru Gailey thinks and has the Gailey play book memorized. Ryan Fitzpatrick would give Buffalo the shirt off his back. Fitzpatrick loves the Buffalo Bills and their fan base. The Bills love Fitzpatrick. It's a match made in the football heavens. Always has been. Ryan Fitzpatrick can help make sure the remaining years of Josh Allens career are successful and help Buffalo win a Championship in my humble opinion. Part time consulting. Keep his television gig.

Ryan Fitzpatrick's ups and downs at the QB position had more to do with arm strength IMO. Accuracy issues when trying to make high velocity throws.

YES if Fitz was gifted arm strength he would have been a franchise guy... literally he used every ounce of strength he had to get velocity on the ball... but sometimes it was like swinging the golf club out of your shoes... the ball goes way off course LOL...

With the factual basis you presented, why not hire Newton?  Or McNabb?  Or Jim Kelly?  What's so special about Fitzy here?  What does Chan Gailey have to do with ANYTHING in 2025?

 

And why would you hire a QB who didn't win anything as the consultant?  If there's going to be a consultant, shouldn't he be a winner?

 

To sum up, 2pm on a Wednesday is a little early to be opening up the first can in the second six-pack.

I remember the 4-0 start and then the concussion and then Trent became Trenative.... so of course he did... lots of people helped with that record...  but you asked if I remember what he did... we were pretty bad... I am not sure offensive Guru comes to mind... nor do I think an offense that was ranked 28th 14th and 19th in his years backs this up... you think differently thats all good... but I dont see it... nor do I think that an offense system that showed only moderate success to pretty significant failure  from 15 years ago translates to todays NFL... just my opinon.
