And the reality is that diggs is a number one.

The belief that a number one receiver must Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, someone of that level... There's a reason there's a distinct tier 1 of wide receivers and it's only five or six.

Only five or six teams have those guys and it's not clear on who they may be at any given point. The best example is Garrett Wilson in New Jersey. The guy is top five talent and playing at a subpar level.

Stefon Diggs is a 1B wide receiver.

I can get behind this! I’m just thinking why give up any draft capital for a WR unless it’s a premier WR? Maye is actually making Diggs,Boutte, and Douglas look like a respectable trio! So unless it’s getting someone like AJ Brown I rather they went after a RB since the run game is horrid

Because behind Diggs who do they have that is going to be better than a 2nd round pick? The draft gamble on WRs is getting more and more risky.

Mack Hollins is ok in that system as a #3 in a rebuilding phase. Boutte is a #3 dressing up as a #2. Maybe he is a #2B on a good day.

If the Patriots got a mid tier, a #2 or another #2b/#3 it would be a vast improvement.

Hollins should be a #4-5.

I know you don't read here much but background... I always believe you should have a #1WR, #2WR, #3, and a #4 who can play inside or out with the #5 being the gadget guy/slot/wildcard.  For the Bills think when they had Diggs/Davis/Beasley/John Brown or Emanuel Sander/McKenzie.

If i am the Pats i trade for a #2 if I can. this puts insurance against injury and ensures good targets for Maye through the rest of the season and the potential regression of his development should there be injury or drop in performance from Diggs (which is expected).

in the draft you'd be able to 100% focus on the OL. i don't load up to stop the Bills offense by drafting defense and you certainly don't have to worry about the Jets offense or Miami's offense.  Load up on the LOS with the OL. plan to control the LOS against the Bills and look to outscore them and control the ball.

That video is horrific.

And yes I do remember the other play where he blew the read; I even said something to my son about it at the time.

There was a nice combo on the left that opened up, but Allen never looked over there (his occasional habit of disregarding his left) and he bailed because protection was breaking down.

If you’re correct, that there was a nice combination route on the left and Josh never looked there then we have a real problem! Routes are supposed to be designed to open in different sequences so that the QB’s visual progression gets to each option when they’re designed to open. Again…Buffalo, we have a problem.

By the time it opened up, Allen had already begun climbing the ladder to his right ("probably" for good reason) so he never got his eyes over there.

Probably nothing, but you never know with these diva WR’s. They like playing games and get everyone guessing, then they play it off like people shouldn’t read into things. It’s like they are toying with the fan base.

so just to read between the lines here its the fact that he posted the picture from buffalo correct?

sorry not trying to be a moron here, just making sure I didn't miss something in the rumor mill today.  I read about the giants trying to get waddle but never buffalo.

99% it’s nothing and he just thought the picture was cool

1% it’s a covert message he’s headed to Buffalo

Buffalo plays in New York and the Giants are the New York Giants. The Bills logo in the background is giant. Waddle just does not know that the Giants play in New Jersey, but then again why would he?

Their point was if it was between the offense and defense then go the offensive route because the defense is a lost cause at this point.

I think they were referring to all the people saying the Bills should trade for Safety help or secondary help and basically telling them that isn’t an option because of how McDermott runs his defense so there is no one they could bring in that could learn where they need to be at certain times or spots quick enough to help the defense.

They said this, not me to be clear. 😀

Kirby has been saying the same for literally years!

Imagine if Bill Parcells, Phill Simms and Lawrence Taylor had instagram.  All the yelling at each other they did would have been great on instagram.

I mean Taylor would have been in the clink by early 84 if we had instagram back then, so that would have been another bonus I guess.
