Don't trust Brady to integrate a guy like Olave tbh

The only can't fail solution is a top tier guy like AJ Brown

Olave is a #1 WR.  Olave and Josh will be great.  Josh would have a WR who can most always get a basket, when needed.  Not even Joe Brady could ***** up that combination.

So was Diggs and he couldn't figure that out

It's open season to dump on Coleman but I hope he grows up like Moulds did (late).

So I am all for a trade for a wr but woukd not include Coleman.

We have all been waiting for a trade during our bye week.  But my optimistic side says that the trade is waiting for the games to be done this weekend.  Olave with his concussion issues shoukd not command a 1stv rounder.

Shaheen would be decent.  And if Dolphins and Jets don't mind trading in division, i hope Waddle and Wilson are in play now.

Agree on Coleman.
Shaheen was targeted like maybe 4 times this afternoon. All incomplete except for a pick. But it's Rattler throwing him the ball.

Just having Shaheed lined up stresses a defense.  That will back then up

Dead cap hits teams would take to trade either Waddle or Wilson

Dolphins -Waddle-23.2M

Jets- Wilson - 41.4M

I would say the Jets would have to be absolutely blown away by a trade offer to take a 41M+ cap hit AND send to a division rival. That's not gonna happen.

Same applies to Waddle. They need to be blown away. Those two are likely to stay put, and if they are moved to wouldn't be in the division unless we offer a ridiculous overpay.

I hear you. I'd still rather see what it looks like though rather than throw away a full season of Allen's prime, which is what we're doing if we leave the offense as is. Even just having the threat of Olave on the field helps to open up the short field plays that Brady spams every week if nothing else. That's what Cooper did for us and he was past his prime last year. Also I saw an intent to get the ball downfield early against the Falcons but we had to abandon that plan once Palmer went out. Even against the Pats they were trying it. So I'd like to think they know there are a lot of 1v1 opportunities outside they're unable to take advantage of right now because of personnel.

Would a Ridley and McCreary trade for Rousseau make any sense salary wise? Would shore up 2 of our weak spots. Not sure either team would be interested, but feels like Bills are gonna have to get creative.

forget Olave his cap hit is over 6 mil and next year over 15 mil, we don't have the money, we would be better off bringing in someone who new how to draw up plays.

The 15m next year is a club option. If the team who owns his contract doesn't want to pay it, they can either decline the option, he becomes a Free Agent, and they're off the hook. Or they can extend him and get that number down.

No that's his 5th year option which the Saints already picked up. He is locked in at that cap number next year unless an extension lowers it.

Thanks for the correction.

I didn't realize Olave was so young and still under his Rookie deal. I guess that's what happens when you have an immediate production Draft Pick. Makes it feel like they've been around longer than they have.

HONESTLY…..

The Bills will never be willing to give up a high draft pick in a mid season trade. No way do they part with a round 1 pick.

1 player I’d like to see them go after is former #52 overall pick 6’2”, 4.34 40, WR AD Mitchell from the Colts. Is the juice worth the squeeze?! I think to take on his rookie contract would be worth it.

His potential is high, had a great offseason with the Colts. The Colts have great WRs and Mitchell is buried in that room.

I know he’s been questioned as far as ethics and attitude. But if our locker room is as great as they say it is, why not see if that’s what the kid needs. He’s had no issues really with the Colts. Probably could get him for a 3rd round pick in 2026 and a conditional 7th next year. Shoot they gave a round 3 pick for Amari Cooper.
