Roundybout Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Tre White left us as a beloved All-Pro defensive back who got hit with two brutal injuries. Now, he’s back. And he’s unplayable. I’d argue he’s unrosterable. He is constantly 15 yards away from receivers. He takes horrific penalties because he can’t keep up anymore with offenses. I can’t recall the last big play he’s made for us. White needs to retire for the good of his legacy. It’s such a shame to watch. I’d argue it’s borderline selfish for him to keep going like this. Riverboat Ritchie Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Give me a break. Coaches just need to put in better player. Trey needs to be a backup at best but I don’t blame him 1 Quote
Walking Tall Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Ja’Marcus Ingram must be real bad because there is no excuse for White to still be out there. Funny thing is….I thought Ingram showed well last season. Shows how much I know. 1 1 Quote

MainEvent Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago He was brought here to be a vet backup that knows the system and provide mentorship to Hairston. The Hairston injury caused Tre getting significant playing time. It’s on Beane to adjust. 2 Quote
Bruffalo Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Nobody out there was making plays with the defense as called. they did a lot better in man coverage. Man requires more athleticism. Seems pretty clear to me that the zone scheme is being called incorrectly or has glaring problems with the implementation. 1 Quote
paulmm3 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Agree it's on the coaches to find a better option than Tre White at CB. I don't see how anyone could expect him to be even competitive this year after the Rams - who had as bad a defense last year as we did - healthy scratched him last year then traded him for a 7th round pick swap. I don't fault him for continuing to play as long as he's given a job and I don't fault him for the age and injury related decline. Edited 3 hours ago by paulmm3 1 Quote
90sBills Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Legacy? He’s trying to maximize his rapidly ending mediocre playing career. Quote

Played well during Week 1 in White's steed and would cycle in for White when they needed a change of pace. And now he's on Injured Reserve as well. 1 Quote
