I remember a time when Josh Allen would have picked up those two yards easily… Josh is getting older, he is getting caught some times that he used to get away from things. Still amazing, but he can’t be expected to do that all the time anymore. 2 Quote
Roundybout Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I’ve never been so baffled as when Ty Johnson ran into his own guy on that screen. Cook is the ONLY other offensive player on this roster we can consider to be truly “elite” And they REFUSE to trust him in high pressure situations. 2 2 1 Quote
Nelius Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago He had 17 carries which is actually a bit over his norm of 15 throughout prior games this season and both are higher than his 13 or so carries per game last year. I want the offense to run through him more and really wish he was involved in passing which has all but disappeared, but we gotta get our Cook facts straight - they are running him more right now. 1 Quote

I don’t think it’s about his touches. I am more in line with you have to make the defense respect that James Cook may be getting the ball. That may have been enough to freeze defenders on those two miserable short yardage plays they failed on tonight…..well, at least one. The Bills can’t even successfully run a jet sweep no matter who is on the field. 1 Quote

He wants to be out there helping his team when they need him most. I honestly don't get it. If you're going down, go down with your best guys having a chance at least. This team has 2.....I'll repeat 2 elite players. 17 & 4....stop pulling Cook out on 3rd down when you're just going to botch the call anyway with a butchered jet run. 1 1 Quote

They just didn’t use him right we’re in agreement - you have to make teams respect James Cook. More for the Brady fire really. He called a terrible game. 1 1 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago James Cook. We love him. However, he's not built like a big bruiser to take 20+ carries. He's not in the same class, physically, as Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, and Jerome Bettis. It's ok to sit out especially in a losing game. Why bother? Let the coach make the decision. Cook is lucky that the coach made the decision to "bench." 1 1 3 Quote

There are about 5 humans on earth that can do what Cook can do with a football in his hands and he is on the sideline on 3rd and 4th down! How can a coaching staff watch the play below and not think “this guy needs to be on the field at all times”? 1 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago When we're losing the game anyway? wasted effort. Cook taking hits for no reason. 3 Quote

Feed him more. He went overlooked and yet showed a new side of his talent tonight - what Chiefs fans want Pacheco to be. Available and chain moving I don’t think you’re allowed to doubt James Cook at this point, and said that 30 TD ago. Run the offense through him, let Josh get right. Don't know where you got that from. Maybe you're doubting him? I don't know. That was out of nowhere. Anywhere, let's not get into argument. We both agree that we're doubting the entire team, yes? I did BEFORE this game started. I knew we were gonna lose. If you read my previous posts leading up to this game, I was throwing subtle yellow flags. At this point, we're lucky to make the playoffs as a Wildcard. Seriously. For reals. Quote

Just throwing out some JC stats brother. I think he’s actually one of the uniquely talented backs to take that many touches right now, they need to rely on him more. We’re on the same page, I just think they need to go into Cook overload. 1800+ Cook yards. Now Quote

I'm not sure where you're seeing how we're an AFC playoff ready team. We have no defense. Usually, teams, without a quality defense, don't go far in the regular season. They definitely don't win any games in the playoffs if they're lucky to reach that. 1 minute ago, strive_for_five_guy said: I mean, from that alone, sounds like McD is questioning personnel that Brady was throwing out there. Classic McDermott. A mental midget coach dodging questions to perfection. Doesn't want to be held accountable either. Quote

And I don't believe he saw the field after that. Coincidence? They do take him off the field at times when playing from behind here and there but not entirely like they did today. It had to be McD. He’s terrified of him being in there when the OL is getting destroyed like that. 1 Quote
