DrDawkinstein Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Where did Cook land? Agreed that's way too low for Kincaid, especially for how he's been performing. Brady needs to learn when to make adjustments out of "everyone eats" when guys and plays are hot. 1 1 Quote

Put your best players on the field! I agree…Shakir and Kincaid should be north of 80% each and every game. 2 Quote
Bruffalo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think snap counts on offense isn't particularly important in the way you're making it out to be. Kincaid probably should have had more targets in the game. Does that mean he needed to be on the field more? Or does that mean that when he was on the field they should called more plays where he was "the guy" or at least the 2nd look? Quote

Kincaid comes off the field --- 90%+ chance we run, because we usually bring on some combo of Hawes/Gilliam or use Hawes/Knox. Shakir- hes still battling thru his ankle, IMO. I fully expect we see his snap count increase after bye week But in theory, I hate our personnel groupings. I dont want to see Gilliam on the field, or Shavers. Both these guys ZERO to the pass game/it becomes almost a guarantee we are running the ball. Teams have started to adjust to our personell groupings. Hawes, I dont mind seeing him, but rather we roll with 12 personell than 13 on 1st downs. Keep the defense guessing if run or playaction. Id be saving 13 for inside the 10/3rd or 4th and short. Quote

Brady is the smartest guy in the room. When other teams see these personnel changes they get so confused. They don’t know what to do. When they see Palmer on the field, alongside Coleman, they need to rethink their whole game plan. They thought about stopping cook, Allen, Kincaid, but now they have to try and stop Palmer on the fly. I don’t know if any D coordinator can figure that one out. The bills just have way too many weapons. Quote
NewEra Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I’m not good with Kincaids snap count, but I’m good with Shakirs due to our success in 12 and 13 personnel. Shakir isn’t going to play on the boundary and having that many TEs on the field will limit his snaps by default. If you want to play less 12-13-22 personnel, I get wanting Shakir to get more snaps. I’m a huge fan of 12-13-22 in today’s nfl and think it’ll be a key our success. It can dictate how the opposition calls their d and their formations I just wish we would’ve passed more out of those formations on Sunday night. We attempted 2 passes out of 13 personnel that game. Gotta keep the defense more honest. Edited 1 hour ago by NewEra 1 Quote

We pay fair market value but then the players play 20-25% less snaps than their peers. Quote

Process Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Kincaid is the one I have an issue with. If you look at the snap counts for other top TEs around the league, they are all consistently over 70%. Some 90%+. He's our biggest offensive weapon. He needs to be on the field. Quote
BlueRed Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago For comparison sake, here are the Patriots WR snap percentages from the same game … Boutte 62% Hollins 58% Diggs 50% Quote

That’s one reason the loss hurts so bad. But to your point. we don’t have a WR or TE on the roster that deserves 90-100% of offensive snaps. In fact, we haven’t had one ever that I can remember. Just once I want to know what it’s like to have a player like Ja’Marr Chase on the Bills, but that won’t happen until we get a coach and QB that can handle a huge diva in the locker room. Quote

Is Keon that much better than Palmer we here we should play him 90% of snaps? I’d argue that Palmer is actually a better WR than Keon atm….bit is he worthy of 90% snaps? Shakir is a slot WR and the other 2 are better blockers and playing the boundary. When you play lots 12-13-22 personnel, WR snaps suffer. Thats how we built this team and this is what we should do. Our offense has been better when we run with more TEs. I hope to see more of it tbh. Kincaids snaps are too low for my liking and I hope they increase, but our other TEs are much better better blockers (although Kincaid has taken a huge step up in terms of blocking). I understand why his snaps are low, but I think he’ll continue to make it harder to keep him off the field as the season progresses Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago 100% agree with OP. Also no more Shavers on the field. Let Coleman block for the run game. When Gabe is healthy I hope they cut Shavers and play Gabe as WR#4 Quote
