All these guys that are seemingly available are over priced. Give me a guy with upside and does meet our needs. Give me Tre Tucker and move out Elijah Moore and a  draft pick for him if need be. He gives us a guy with speed on that can play on the outside and less than $2 million a season for this and next season.

with that drop off is Hamlin > Rapp?

Rapps drop off is huge.  He was the Bills best tackler.  Not this year.  He already has 4 missed tackles. And that is not counting the numerous times Rapp took the wrong angle.  Rapp only had 4 missed tackles in all of 2024.

Something is very off with Rapp.  I’m wondering if his last big hit is effecting him.  Angles and tackling is basic fundamentals.  It’s like Rapp forgot how to play football well.

So yes, I would consider Hamlin.  And I would consider to trade for an upgrade

Bills are fortunate to have their bye week just ahead of the deadline. I'm not expecting much of anything, but there are certainly needs and maybe an overfortified position or two.

Deadline is 11/4.

Rapp is a potential liability in that he plays ultra aggressive.  I wonder if the coaches have gotten him to temper his aggression and that is what's wrong.

Simmons would be a fantastic addition, but I can't see this front office doing it after spending so much recent draft capital on Sanders and Walker, as well as Ogunjobi in free agency.

Be ready for this place to explode when the Pats make a huge move. They still have 54 million in cap space. They could absorb Ja'Marr Chase or Justin Jefferson if the Bengals or Vikings become sellers. They could afford Hendrickson AND Olave. They also have an extra 4th and 6th in the 2026 draft.

I can’t imagine either team trading their #1 WR away.

Hendrickson would be the one who could be traded.

Chase/Higgins being traded would merely jade the fans and Burrow to the team. It wouldn’t help the Bengals and would reinforce their perceived cheapness.

Trading Jefferson would be kneecapping the Vikings for the next 3 to 5 years so I can’t see them doing that.

I just meant that they could add any player short of a franchise QB and absorb the entire contract. Not that’s is a possibility.

CB

WR

DT

ideally we can acquire 2 of the 3

since our 1st round picks don't usually work out....Beane may as well trade one for an impact now if at all possible

I'd say DT Simmons would be my top target.   The yahoo link posted above claims his deal is very tradeable so who knows

I'd gladly part with a 2nd & 4th for him

he already has 3.5 sacks, 6 TFL and 1 FF this year

Bosa Oliver Simmons Rousseau  is at least an above average DL for the playoffs with the potential to be quite good

We traded out of the 1st in 2024, Kincaid is maybe our best receiving option this year and is looking more like his Rookie season, we just extended Rousseau to an 80m deal, didn't have a 2020 1st, Ed Oliver is pretty damn good, Josh Allen is Josh friggin' Allen, and Tre White was an All Pro CB before injuries.

Outside of Kaiir Elam in 2022, I don't know what you're talking about. Unless you've already determined Maxwell Hairston is a bust before he's ever played a down in the NFL.

Busts in the 1at happen to everyone at some point in time, especially when you're picking closer to the 2nd to begin with.

But saying our 1sts "don't usually work out"? That's really inaccurate when you break it down.

But unsubstantiated hyperbole is what brings spice to fan discussions boards. Don’t come in here trying to squash us with actual facts.
