Lmao OP thinks the Pats are winning more than maybe 7 games? Im pissed because that was an easy win we let slip away for no reason. We played like absolute ass and barely lost the game lol. We gifted them so many points they left on the field because they're just not good...we just played way worse than they did like we played down to them or just didn't show up.

It’s week 5, no such thing as a must win in week 5

I do love extreme overreactions after a loss though, really brightens my morning!

That would be week 6

The problem that i have is that we've been exposed........teams know that we can't defend the run and can barely defend the pass with our bend, but don't break philosophy, allowing holes and open field everywhere on the field where opposing WR's can just find an open spot and hunker down for the pass. Our piss poor D can't get enough pressure on the QB, allowing them to pick us apart.

Reid and Vrabel are masters at exposing team's weakness and using this against them.

And Brady?......Carolina couldn't run him out of town fast enough and yet; he's Buffalo's saving grace?

We could have made a statement last night with a stranglehold and once again fell apart.

When does this team finally put it all together and start playing like a championship team?!?..........oh, were close Sweats, but just not there yet.

We should be steamrolling these teams, showing them that the SB comes through Buffalo and we're barely beating winless teams and actually lose to a team with a winning record.

.........disgusting.

Probably not a MUST win, unless we actually want a bye in the playoffs.  The Bills havent beaten a good team yet and please dont come at me with Baltimore.

The same problems we've always had are magnified, that the D is junior grade at best and can't get off the field on critical 3rd down.  Our WR corps is 1 starting NFL WR and a bunch of JAGs.  Our OC loves gimmicky alignments that yield more penalties than first downs, and our coach seems unable to have the team ready for big games.  In any case, if we lose to another .500 team it's safe to say that this team probably falls short of where we got last year, but take heart, the 7 DL they draft next year will surely yield at least 1 C+ player

Agreed on all accounts... Our defense is straight azz and nothing changes (aside from more injuries).  Our offense has progressively gotten worse in each game.  And we were outcoached last night.  Maybe next week isn't a "must win", but we need to start showing signs of getting even marginally better.  Four home games into the season and we easily could've/should've lost all of them.

Doesn't matter whether it's a must win or not. They won't lose. No mystery here. Just a weak ass NFC South team

Falcons have some serious talent on offense. More than the Patriots do. Their QB is up and down. But it's not crazy to think he could shred this defense.

This could be a blowout win. But I certainly wouldn't put money on it.

Yeah, I don't see us getting home field.  Unless something drastically changes, we are trending in the wrong direction in every area.  With how awful we looked in our 4 home games, maybe this team needs to play on the road.  Not that the Jets game was any indication of how we respond away from Orchard Park.

At 4-1 with a division loss, I see next week as a must win heading into the Bye.  Assuming we beat the Falcons and exit the Bye at 5-1, the Patriots will likely be 5-2.  And then assuming we beat the Panthers, we’ll be 1 game up on New England heading into the toughest part of our schedule.  How we’ve played against cupcake competition thus far does not bode well for us.  The Patriots have an even cupcakier (not a word, I know) schedule from here on out.  I can’t see them losing more than 3 games the rest of the season.  We look awful and can easily see us losing at least 5 of our last 10 games.  Never thought I’d say it, but I see the Patriots winning the division.

“A must win”?

While I agree I don’t see them winning the division, the Pats remaining schedule they should get at least 10 wins probably 11.  The Bills I see MAYBE 3 more losses on the schedule? KC, Philly, maybe Pittsburg or Tampa.. (I doubt Pitt since they needed 5 Turnovers to barely beat the Pats and Yes I still think the Bills are better than my Pats)

This. Bills don't have a single quality win on the season. Obviously they play who the schedule says they play, but still...

Nah, I've been a fan for 50 years.  No panic, just the deadening realization that the current regime probably peaked in the 2020 season.  Is there something you saw from the team last night to make you think they're going to win clutch games against top teams?  Because I saw them getting manhandled by a .500 team, and the guy that walked out the door here shredded our vaunted D.  I don't know, maybe if we invest some more draft capital in the D line they'll be able to get off the field on 3rd and long at a critical juncture.  Or, maybe one of these scrap heap WRs will turn out to be a diamond in the rough that can get open regardless of coverage because right now, all the motion and gimmicky BS is costing us more than it's getting us, but Brady is doing it because we have a bunch of C+ guys that cant get open otherwise

I think we had our chances to get it done championship-wise. We had 13 seconds. We had KC in Buffalo. We had another AFCC appearance last year. I just don't think it's in the cards for this franchise to ever win one.

I just don't understand why so many on this board see only rainbows and unicorns with this current team.  We legit could/should be 1-4 against bottom feeder teams.  I get that it's the NFL and "Any Given Sunday", but blah blah blah...  These people think we're panicking... It's not panic, it just taking an honest look at what this team is and it ain't good right now.  Can it be fixed, sure, maybe.  But nothing is pointing in that direction.

Whenever I see those road uniforms it always makes me think of the 1-12-1 1968 Bills with Dan Darraugh at QB. That was a rough year. But….we drafted OJ Simpson the next Spring.
