Both Harbaugh and McDermott are from the Reid coaching tree and both struggle to beat him.

A simple fix for the Ravens is to have Harbaugh up his clapping game - at least McDermott looks like he is putting in the effort and time to come prepared to games.

That's the problem though.

The Bills have no issues beating KC during the season. Baltimore struggles with them all of the time.

It's easy to say KC has Baltimore's number. No matter where or when they play. Some teams own others.

Love it - HoF QB/2x MVP and Romo is saying - “put it in Henry’s hands”.

Lamar is a phenomenal QB, but he ain’t Allen.

Nope.

Even in the postseason, Allen has been very good. Lamar? Yeah...not so much.

When are these injured players returning? Because they can't afford many more losses. Sometimes you have to change it up.

For the record, I want them to keep the staff in place. Them getting in a huge hole is a benefit to the Bills.

I’d want them to panic and fire coaches midseason tbh lol especially after this brutal stretch of schedule Baltimore has had.  I always find this kinda intriguing…unless there’s some crazy issue going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about,  promoting someone midseason who has less experience is as likely to go bad as it is to go ok.

overall I do think Harbaugh gets too much leeway but a firing of a coordinator etc midseason could make things even worse.

I'm not talking rushing game at all. Allen is the better QB.

But Lamar the LAST COUPLE YEARS has been a better passer than Allen.

Everyone can be mad at me, but outside of Bills fans, Lamar is considered one of the best PASSERS in the league. Not talking "best QBs," just PASSERS.

He's more efficient, more accurate, throws almost no INTs, has thrown significantly more TD passes & has a much better passer rating for a reason. And I hate how much emphasis people put on passer rating, but Lamar has the best passer rating IN HISTORY for a reason. He didn't just luck into that.

Why are people making me defend Lamar's passing? It's not 2022 anymore. Are Bills fans still so behind that they think Lamar is a "running QB" that just happens to pass sometimes? That's moronic.

Comparing him to Russell Wilson is even dumber. Russ throws a nice LOOKING deep ball, while Lamar throws an ACCURATE deep ball & does so consistently.

And let's not act like he's all checkdowns aside from the occasional deep ball (like Russ). Lamar LEAD THE LEAGUE in average air yard per attempt with 8.8 ypa in 2024!

Josh Allen was 9th.

Want to talk about most passes behind the LoS? Josh Allen is 12th most in the league, Lamar is so far down the list it doesn't show up without paying to unlock more data (but lower than 25th).

This season, Lamar averages 6.3 air yards per pass (most in the league), Allen averages only 4.2.

But sure, let's keep pretending every possible passing stat doesn't matter, just because Lamar has gotten good at it.

Passing stats below are from 2023 to 2025... But if you want to ignore Allen's INTs & remove the 2023 season (just to discredit Lamar further), go ahead. Comparing 2024 PASSING stats only helps my argument even more.

Josh vs Lamar.jpg

At one point late in the season last year, there was an analytics chart going around that showed that Allen's receiving targets got the least separation in football. Wanna take a guess which QB was throwing to the receivers who were most open?

wait, two MORE Ravens defenders were injured in the first half?!?

Guess KC was bound to have a bit of good luck when it came to injuries eventually🤨

Yeah, probably two of their three best defenders

???

Last year Tua, Russell Wilson, and Brock Purdy had a better passer rating than Mahomes so that means they threw the ball better than him? Nobody really pays attention to passer rating anymore.

Everyone ignores the fact that Allen has 60 MORE TD’S than Lamar since they were drafted.  60!!!!!!  That’s a freaking chasm.

I don’t know where the count is since the season started, but probably not too far off still.

Anyone comparing them - please give me your advanced stats on how Lamar is close to Allen…..HE’S NOT

If I hear anyone talking about Lamar for MVP after this week I am going to lose my mind...he has been awful.

Of course earlier Romo mentioned "how close" he was to a third MVP

They won a SB in 2012 by doing this very thing. I think it was an OC change. Obviously different situation now.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Deshaun Watson have higher career passer ratings than Tom Brady. Enough said.

Wow...I just got banned at Baltimore Beatdown for asking why Lamar threw the ball out of bounds on 4th down. The new mod over there is touchy AF.

They gotta give somebody a Baltimore Beatdown since they sure ain't giving Kc one

At some point, if this is a true SB contender, we shouldn't care who wins the AFC west/North divisions. This team will need to win a SB by beating three great teams at minimum. If they can't do it, they were never deserving.

I disagree. It usually takes a fair bit of luck to win the SB. While only a few teams really have a chance to win it in any given season, they certainly don’t all beat 3 great teams en route to hoisting the Lombardi. . Things often fall into place favorably for many of those SB winners.
