I'm still waiting for the Kelvin Benjamin week. He was certainly legendary.

I loved when this team signed Mitch in 2019. He was the best center on the free agency market and the Bills had one of the worst offensive line and particularly starting center situations in the league in 2018. So you got this QB you just drafted in 2018 7th overall and you placed him behind one of the worst offensive lines in football. So grabbing the best center on the free agency market now that all that dead cap was off the books was a big move to help this young QB develop.

What people forget is how an experienced high quality center can help develop a young QB. This guy gets an A+ for helping Young Josh in the early years.

I don't remember that story. Maybe. But Benjamin was a big guy who just got lazy and stopped working. Running or jumping for a pass was just too much work I guess.

I believe the brouhaha was when Gettleman chased him all around the Giants' facility, over Benjamin making too many trips through the cafeteria line.  That's when I began referring to him as 'Lunch Lady Gettleman'.
