I know this Dolphins offense isn't the 22' Bengals, but it does worry me a little. The D-line in that game was almost all injured. I know Ed is out and the PED Twins are still suspended but this D-line is much healthier than that one was. I also think that 2022 team was out of gas. Even before the Demar situation that team had been through a lot on and off the field. It was a year of hell heavy with injuries on the field. But also a lot going on off the field (Topps shooting in the off-season, Knox's brother passed away during camp, Deadly snow storm, moving a game to Detroit while battling a flu and covid out break, etc) and then the DeMar situation happened. This is simply not that same set of circumstances on or off the field. But yeah I'm always nervous before games like this where it "should" be a blowout. This reminds me more so of that 2023 Giants game where it was the narrowest margin of victory at home against a bad depleted opponent or it could just be a home blowout? Either way Go Bills.... 2

We had just come back from London in that game. That trip really messed up that season. 1

One trademark of this team under McDermott is that the team buys into the "Just go 1-0", our biggest game is this game type philosophy. I wasn’t thinking a full on rant, lol but you’re likely correct, 1 1

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Just have to find a way to keep stacking wins. No matter who we play, you have to take them seriously. Pick up where we left off and keep playing defense. The offense seems to figure it out regardless. If the defense plays well, we are going to be unstoppable. Keep playing fast, keep playing physical. Get up early, force 3 and outs and Don’t let this team get off the mat. 2 2 1
Cash Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Feels like tonight we find out how Miami’s players feel about their coach. Either they come out incredibly flat or incredibly fired up. Most people are predicting the former, but I’m ready for either. Either way, Bills should win. If Miami comes out hot, I think they’ll still fold if/when the Bills go up two scores. Especially if the Dolphins get away from the run game again. 2

If the Bills get up early, the Fins may think, "Man, I've had enough of the sh*t," and begin half-*ssing it. But if they're able to keep it close early, they might fight hard to the very end regardless of what they think of McDaniel. Like you, neither a nailbiter nor a laugher would surprise me. Though I think there's a greater likelihood of the latter. 2 1

If the Bills want to be in play for the one seed that gotta win all the games they "should" win. You need at least 13 wins to be in play for a one seed. That leaves little if any margin of error to drop games that you should win esp inside the division/conference. 2

sleeby Posted September 18 Posted September 18 The loss to the lowly patriots last year makes me cringe "jinx" with so many thinking this won't be a contest. Hope they're right. Find out soon. 1
