He’s only really produced consistently his first season when Knox was injured. Knox’s best stint in a while was when Kincaid was injured last year. Seems like we’re paying two guys and getting one player’s production. I’m disappointed in both. Right now the Knox contract and the high pick on Kincaid just makes no ***** sense to me. The Kincaid is Beasley but in TE body Beane fed us was bull####, just another wasted pick early in the draft Maybe because they're grading out well, blocking like monsters, and our offense is rolling? I am very happy with all three TEs so far this season. 3 1 1 1 Quote

Violent through the whistle and maybe a little beyond, then he's just walking back to the huddle. On the occasion the opponent takes exception and comes back at him, Hawes is ignoring him like just another buzzing fly. There is no way " attitudinally " is a word . But I think we can all agree , Hawes has a future with the Bills 💪 1 Quote

Next year he has a $17 million cap hit with 7.4 million dead hit. I think he does a team-friendly extension/re-structure of his contract or is cut next year. You just can't pay a guy that much for 300 to maybe 500 yards tops in a 17-game season. Got a strong feeling They Both work that out fairly easily. Knox is homegrown and loved. He has a Buffalo Bill Heart Everyone knows he is paid handsomely for his work on the field. they need to rebalance that reward. 1 Quote

Beyond that at age 32 the team probably will want to get younger at the position. But this 3 TE thing each one brings their own strengths to the table. Kincaid decent blocker but by far the best receiver of the bunch. Knox very good blocker solid receiver (drops a little too much but is able to run a lot of routes and can catch). Hawes and elite blocker and showing that he's not a bad receiver at all. Each has a different skillset but each can block to some degree and each can catch to some degree. Fair post. But if Hawes can take over the position that Knox somewhat fills ? I don't think that's a reason to move on from Dawson at 32. Less reps and keep him healthy. adjust the contract accordingly , and he , if willing and able could ride into the sunset as a Bill quite nearly Hawes is a blessing and hoping we are still discussing this all season ! 2 Quote

Just hope the numbers balance out down the road... 1 Quote
BigDingus Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Hawes is going to pull a Benford & supplant our 1st round toothpick WR posing as a TE 🙃 1 1 2 Quote
3rdand12 Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Not sure about that just yet I am firm about the 3 Amigos and Gilliam helping Bills win Games under Brady. May not be stats though or fantasy football. But these are the right guys at the right times. Go Hoss 🤠 1 Quote

A rare, beautiful and deadly combo on a ballfield. 4 Quote
