Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Sort of curious how the Bills run their tush push this year given how it petered out against KC, and also whether there might be some variations and trick plays from it. For example, not sure many people saw this, but New Mexico pulled off one of the best fake tush push plays I have seen on Saturday. 2 1 Quote
Brand J Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That was legitimately pretty. I think one thing Brady can take from the KC game is to have wrinkles out of the sneak, or other options he can turn to. He had all off season to agonize over it, so hopefully going forward if the opposing team stops it once or twice, he’ll have something else to pull from his bag of tricks instead of stubbornly calling the same play because it had worked throughout the season. chris heff Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Putting the ball on the ground is dangerous, not sure that would work in the NFL, but there has to be a version of the fake that would work. 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just having some variants/fakes of the tush push would maybe stop our opponents from committing all out to defending the tush push, thus making the tush push more successful. Though it's already highly successful. 1 Quote
K-9 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago There was no tush pushing happening on that play. It was a fake QB keeper. Nice play nonetheless. Quote
Bills!Win! Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago All we had to do in the AFCG was go right on the sneak. We had been going left all year long: why not change it up to fake them out? 1 Quote
boater Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Josh always goes to the left on the tush push. Defenses prepare for it. The Bills went 0-4 for the tush push in the AFCCG. If he could occasionally go right this season, that would be of benefit. Quote

The announcers suggested that was a bad snap. But I believe it was intentional otherwise it would have been an illegal snap (since the QB was under center). Quote
