Did you know that humpback whales save sea lions, seal and others from Killer Whales?

 

It is believed they are doing this to be altruistic as they have no benefit from protecting these other animals.  

 

There are over 100 documented instances of this. 

 

We should be more like humpback whales

very cool! Neat timing—  I just went whale watching in Alaska and got to see over a dozen humpbacks!
