DaVinci Posted August 18 Posted August 18 The Buffalo Bills' worst preseason game in recent memory was their 33-6 loss to the Chicago Bears in their 2024 preseason opener. The game, played at Highmark Stadium, saw the Bills thoroughly outplayed, with the Bears dominating in a lopsided victory. Quote

Just no I had no idea there was “Tre to safety crap”, sorry to ruffle your feathers there brother. Touchy subject apparently… Unfortunately, team doesn’t have a starting caliber safety. BTW, quite literally prefaced with “too late for a positional switch”. He’s shot at corner. TRYING him out at safety in the offseason would’ve hurt who exactly? Taken valuable reps away from all world pro Damar Hamlin? Those paid off… 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I guess only the Bears can run crossers and in cutting routes down the seams. Quote
BuffaloBaumer Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Really really concerned about our defense if ANY starter goes down 3 Quote

ShakAttack Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Saw something about Hancock getting hurt on a play earlier. What happened? Quote

I’d take a Gardner Minshew/Tyler Bagent/Jameis Winston type. Done with White and Trubisky, they both suck. 100%. I’d rather see Buchele at this point. He has some wheels. Bills have ignored backup QB for years and just bring in guys who Allen likes. thats what it feels like. 2 3 Quote

I chose six years specifically because that’s the time frame Beane has had to build around Josh Allen, so of course he’s not included. My Lord man James Cook is one of the ten best players at his position in the NFL. Greg Rousseau is a very good player. Is he great? No he isnt headed to the hall of fame, but he is an impact player. O'Cyrus Torrence has started every game since he has been drafted. Oliver had 9.5 sacks two years ago and continues to play well above average. If you want super stars I guess the Bills better start drafting in the top 5 of the draft every year. Personally, Ill take the playoffs every year instead. 1 Quote
Evansfan322 Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Buffalo Joe my ass. Cut him too. Slow and waited too long to try to make a tackle Quote

Funny you set the limit at 6 years, because of course it helps your narrative a great deal to completely ignore he drafted the reigning NFL MVP in his first year as GM. Also very telling you set the limit at 2 rounds, when he has drafted guys like Chrisitan Benford, Spencer Brown, Khalil Shakir, Dawson Knox, and Terrel Bernard in rounds 3-6 in those same drafts. He isnt bad at drafting. Definitely not any worse than average. Just complete non-sense. For real. The Chiefs are a top 5-6 dynasty in NFL history and the Bills have been neck and neck with them for years. Obviously we've lost every time which is very, very disappointing, but to even have a team that can hang with an all-time team like that means the GM has not been a failure. 5ths the charm Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I get it there are a lot of back ups in. But the offense was embarrassing. And it doesn't look like many defensive backups are going to be employed by anyone but us. Unfortunately. Quote

That of course is a major responsibility for a safety as you are the last line of defence Edited August 18 by BillsFan130 1 2 Quote
