Remember all those 2nd amendment folks arming themselves against government overreach? You don't hear much from them anymore. Suddenly it isn't an issue, like the deficit. Funny how these supposed crises get flicked on and off, as if by a switch.

It’s good practice. We might need to call up the guard when the simultaneous Canada/Greenland invasions take place. If you were a betting man do you think the invasions would occur before or after the 26 elections are canceled?

Secretly Trump blames the Toronto based bidder which included Bon Jovi for him losing the bidding for the Bils NFL franchise. Won by Terry Pegula. That is the reason he's hostile to Canada.

The plan is to takeover our neighbor to the north and after occupation ban all Canadians from becoming Bills season ticket holders and sign an emergency order to prohibit any Canadian based team from winning the Stanley Cup. Liberals have filed an injunction claiming the EO is not only illegal but redundant.

How is it overreach if he's allowed to do it? You should stop.

Some people can't handle the truth.

Let me know when they actually arrest a criminal and not some preschoolers. In case you missed it, they are working on quotas. It's all about the number of arrests, not actual criminals. Besides real criminals are dangerous. It's a lot safer going after guys looking for work at Home Depot.

Lol, there's way more crime per-capita in small towns, especially in red states.

Hey PTR, welcome back.  Good to hear some other voices from time to time.

I'll repeat what I've said along---it seems to be, when considering a number of different voices (conservative to liberal, politician to average citizen) that have weighed in on the matter, is that violent crime is of considerable concern to many DC residents.  It's not an outlier, it's a fairly big deal and sure, Trump has chosen it to show he's tough on crime.  That the dems are generally viewed as soft on crime, and maybe even crime friendly, probably not a horrible plan.

The thing about blue v red states is that there are plenty of r, d, i and apathetic citizens in every state.  At the same time, the intellectual exercise about per capita crime is fine, but how actual crimes are viewed has an awful lot to do with the relative proximity to the individual.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/08/fact-yes-d-c-crime-is-out-of-control/

There were 29,348 crimes reported in Washington, D.C. last year, including 3,469 violent offenses, 1,026 assaults with a dangerous weapon, 2,113 robberies, and 5,139 motor vehicle thefts.

I'm fairly certain that the victims of that sort of crime don't say "Hey, at least I'm not in Boise.".

This is where ultimately all leftists lose all their credibility on the matter.

The older I get, the more I learn, the less it seems that I know. If it (reducing crime) weren’t complex, it would be solved, or someone would make money solving it.

Not just redundant but overkill to a hurtful degree.

Unnecessary waste of funds and more authoritarian overreach.

Yah you bunch of P***ies would rather have the border wide open allowing more criminals into the country and allow crime to run rampant all over the country but the POTUS is doing what he promised on the campaign trail which is why those that use to follow the same BS you spew changed their vote because they saw through your BS .

Hey got a question dip S**T do you lock your house at night when your a sleep or when you go out to a friends or shopping ??

If so WHY ? If you can come up with a answer that has ANY honesty what so ever in it with no BS then you will know why Trump is arresting those that break the law from entering the country illegally or that steal from law abiding citizens and has the balls to stand up against ignorant people that rage against what he's done .

He's accomplished more in 7 months than most others and definitely more than Jos did in a full term ...

Nothing like that that was going on in USAID or in Cali & NY now? Right .

Fascinating. Can you explain how it’s looking more likely?

Do you think a winter invasion is likely or will the US wait for warmer weather?

Nothing like this but yet you will get behind those such as Newsome, Schiff, and others to keep them doing these kinds of things but when someone stands up and really tries to make a true difference to better situations for human beings you rail against it ..

This man is talking about the likes of people just exactly like you !!! And I for one LOVE IT !! Calling out those POS .

On the contrary, there’s a bunch of money (and votes) being made not solving it.

One look at the percentage of violent crime arrests where the arrestee is a recidivist erases your single starting point, which is designed specifically to obfuscate and wave away the problem without solving it.

Has it ever been “solved”? Trillions have been spent on the drug war, and hundreds of thousands imprisoned and it’s still a problem. And I’m not saying don’t enforce drug laws. Violent crime is the least it has been in decades: https://www.statista.com/statistics/191219/reported-violent-crime-rate-in-the-usa-since-1990/

It will be swift, violent as Vladdy has warned trump about protracted experiences. It must happen before US citizens can react. Hey Jan 6, nobody did anything. Washington...no reaction. NYC is next. Last week some obscure US senator from Maine dumped letters into Canada suggesting Canada or at least Alberta join a civilized nation of the USA,  God fearing nation, with a constitution. Do you think this was done without trumps knowledge?

This is not conspiracy, this is planned, your country will look more like Russia than the USA before the end of 26.

Next step, cancelation of USMCA long before Xmas, some made up ***** by trump to increase economic pressure. The US citizens will find a way to not notice, as their comfortable little gated community is immune to reality.
