Draconator Posted July 25 Posted July 25 I sometimes buy products off of Facebook ads. Two products that have worked out beautifully is the Henson Shaver and blades, and the Remay Shave Gel Bar. Using those two products has my razor absolutely glide across my face, even in days old growth. No stubble left behind. And with the Henson Shaver and blades, I don't need to buy replacement blades or a new shaver for about 5 years. (Gone one year already on the stock I have). The Remay shave gel bars around around $25 for a 2 month supply. What's your shaving game look like? Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted Monday at 04:09 PM Posted Monday at 04:09 PM When the urologist requests that you shave prior to your vasectomy, it's 'below the equator' that is being referenced. Quote
Simon Posted Monday at 04:39 PM Posted Monday at 04:39 PM A cheap electric is fine as long as I keep up with it. If I let it go more than a few days, I have to break out an even cheaper Bic. Wait, we are talking about faces, right? Quote
LeviF Posted Monday at 05:41 PM Posted Monday at 05:41 PM Haven't shaved my beard off in seven years or so. But my kit when I did shave: Merkur safety razor (I forget which model but it was one of the long ones) Personna red pack double edge blades Badger hair brush, bowl, and shave soap Jack Black post shave gel 1 Quote

Walking Tall Posted Monday at 09:32 PM Posted Monday at 09:32 PM (edited) Every day I get my neck. Once every three days the rest…all while showering. Just use the body soap in a pump. Edited Monday at 09:32 PM by Walking Tall Quote
boater Posted Monday at 09:47 PM Posted Monday at 09:47 PM I use an Wahl electric hair trimmer like the barber has, with no length attachments. It leaves just a little bit of stubble, kind of like a 5 o'clock shadow. The bonus is that it leaves your skin completely alone, no razor burn whatsoever. Another bonus, you aren't buying new blades, screens, what ever. The trimmer lasts forever with no maintenance other than a drop of oil twice a year. Quote

CookieG Posted Monday at 11:37 PM Posted Monday at 11:37 PM One cheaply made Youtube commercial into a billion dollar company in less than 10 years. Now that's a shaving game! I can't say I really have a shaving game. A triple blade razor usually, soap instead of shaving cream or shaving butter (whatever that is). A few whacks against the sink or shower tiles and Im done. wagon127 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) I always shave the day of the Bills 1st preseason game, and let it grow until the bills are out of the playoffs. #seasonlongbeard Edited 9 hours ago by wagon127 1 Quote
Victory Formation Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Open goatee/Van *****.. Sometimes a wide base underneath by the chin, sometimes a shorter one. I only use double edged razors because I have sensitive skin.. I shave everything down with an electric trimmer once in a while.. I also use Honest Amish beard oil on all of my facial hair and I love it. Smells good and keeps my beard/goatee soft.. Hair always grows back so I mix things up occasionally, but 90% of the time it’s a Van *****/goatee style of beard. Right now I’m letting the hair grow in all around my jaw line and I’m rocking an open goatee above it.. Quote
Augie Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I probably shave at least 363 days a year. It’s just part of getting up. If I didn’t shave you probably wouldn’t notice, but it’s part of the process to get ready for the day. But, how many of you have to worry about the hair on your back merging with the hair on their neck and head? Like Fitz, but it reverse. I see that at the barber shop sometimes, and there can be a no man’s land kinda dilemma. How much of this do we clear? Separation of hairy areas is like shoveling in a blizzard. 1 Quote
