Since COVID he stripped things down to a skeleton crew. That’s actually part of why Adams got the job. He was willing to be the hatchet man. 1 Quote

Mr. WEO Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 23 hours ago, Doc said: LOL. It was your analogy. Anyway… Yeah, that’s what it means. I had already discussed the coaching situation and everyone knows that Whaley was replaced by McBeane in 2017. Is that all you have? Or were you including Russ Brandon, who lasted until May 2018, but had been relegated back to the marketing department for over a year by then? In any case, it’s silly to harp on the first two full years of their ownership (they were awarded the team in October 2014 so they had no control over that season ) when the last eight have been incredibly successful and the next decade is looking good as well. now that you mention it, it's been only "a minute" since the Sabres were in the playoffs! but yeah, it took Pegula 3 long years to wake up and dump Whaley and Russ. the time did not pass quickly. Also, Buffalo Bill did not ****** those victims in the pit: he made clothing out of them...so analogy was on point. Quote

Old news and I wish it were just for “a minute.” But It’s funny you care about them since you used to think that the NHL was a joke of a sports league. Terry inherited the 2014 team and they went 9-7, which was their best record in a decade, and they were in the playoff hunt until the final week of the season. There wasn’t going to be a change until Marrone pulled his stunt and Terry made the right move not giving into his demands Whaley was given more time and that and Rex Ryan were admittedly mistakes. So again, two years of error followed by what should be almost two decades of success are not even worth mentioning. And what I quoted was what Buffalo Bill was saying to himself in the mirror in that scene to which you are referring. But do you really want to keep using the analogy where you’re the murderous psycho tranny, who gets killed at the end wearing night vision goggles in a basement full of butterflies? Imagine describing somebody as being "relagated to the marketing side" when he's literally the President of two pro sports franchises owned by a guy who proudly wears "flat management structure" on his sleeve. Hopefully one day we can be unsure if Terry is in attendance for a Stanley Cup (LoL) or Super Bowl. Because the leagues and leadership between the three leagues are so similar, lolz. I was at the last Bandits final. I didn't bother to look. I was busy celebrating. 2 hours ago, SoCal Deek said: Here's my research: Are you a different person because of the amount of money that you either have or don't have? I'm guessing not. That Athletics article never actually cited any instance of Terry doing something that hurt the team. It was basically: a) he's around the team a lot. b) unnamed sources say that isn't good. c) "hamster wheel." Quote

And no, I have no idea what kind of a guy Terry is, and I’d bet you don’t either. 1 Quote
