I didn’t really care much about the whole Gulf of Mexico / Gulf of America thing, but it’s Gulf of America now.

I don’t get this at all. Why was the Mexican navy in New York at all? More importantly, why is the Mexican Navy sailing what looks like a ship from the 1800s? What Navy do they think they are winning against with that thing.

I did't hear anything about that until your post.☹️

Someone didn't do their job.  Should have known all the clearances  along their route. 

When they were bringing two massive cargo cranes to the Port of Oakland, they had to time it with a hour to fit under the Bay Bridge. The ship had to sit for almost a day on one side of the bridge, wait for low tide and had about an hour to traverse under the bridge. There was someone on the top of the crane to check and the clearance was so close that he could touch one of the girders as it passed through.
