Another Fan Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Watched this film for the first time in about 10 years last night. Still loved it. Feel it could very well be in my top #10 of all time The nostalgic part that holds up still real well is the main character Rusty James was nostalgic for how life was with his brother and gang fights before he traveled cross country. But yeah even back then this sorta hit the theme of You just can't go back in time kind of thing for prior life. Quote

Def a must watch if your a fan of the Candyman I saw that. It was good, slightly syrupy though! John would have loved some on his pancake stack. I usually hate it when they turn a dead famous person into a saint but I've never heard a single person in Hollywood who didn't say he was a great guy. I'd heard Conan's story about meeting him as a student before and it just shows how nice he treated people whether they were famous or not. 1 Quote

Sadly, they abandoned that market, but still market the steel case models at greatly inflated prices. 🤨 1 Quote

I grew up going to baseball games at Shea Stadium. As a kid walking from the outer concourse into the stadium and seeing the field for the first time was always kind of magical. Even into my 20's when my friends and I were getting in line for that first Harry M Stevens Bigger Beer I had to walk out to see the field before I got on the concession line. Good times. Another Fan Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Perhaps this is a little too current yet for nostalgia..... but seeing Andy Dalton again playing last week the Jets and now this week the Bills this brought back memories. I know the last 2 weeks were disappointing but yeah Andy helped bring back those nostalgic memories if you will. Remember where the team came from 1 Quote
