I would guess Rodgers, Fouts, Marino and Mahomey, maybe Unitas.

what I would like to see is the completion %s for the best player and season (any player) .. Remembering an incomplete pass is basically a lost down. I prefer keeping the chains moving more than I crave the long ball myself. It is necessary to throw it long on occasion, but we do not need to live or die by the long ball, where die is probably 2/3 more probable

Russell Wilson has to be pretty high on that list. He throws that moonball better than anyone.

He carries a $25m cap hit this year.  Are they going to pay him with cookies?  The Bills do not have the cap room or flexibility to afford this, even if they wanted to.

Thanks for throwing cold water on my dream 🙁

Capaccio on the radio this morning said the tender the Browns put on Moore meant he could sign for any amount with any team. But that if he signed before May 1st it would count towards the comp pick formula, but after May 1st it would not. So, my guess is sometime tomorrow or Friday we will hear Moore is being signed to an incentive laden contract that hits the cap as less than the Browns 3.4 tender but has easily met incentives that will make as much or more than that.

If that’s true game on

I'm also curious if the Browns would remove the tender after May 1st and not be on the hook for 3.5 mil for a 5-6th WR. they just signed Dionte Johnson yesterday which is an older version of Moore. Right now it a free 6th round pick(?) if he signs elsewhere but that changes on Friday.

Even if the Browns don't remove the tag I would think Buff could offer a contract with easy to earn incentives that would be greater than 3.5 if he plays. Moore could decide to bet on him self and a much better situation to get a better contract next year. Taking a visit to One Bill Drive with his wife indicates to me he's probably debating taking less now for potentially more later today but want assurances of his role.

Everything I am reading regardin Elijah Moore is

https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/elijah-moore-gets-tagged-by-browns/

Quote

The Browns have applied the unrestricted free-agent tender to Moore, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

If Moore ends up signing with another team by June 21, the transaction will count toward the NFL compensatory draft pick formula. This is notable because Moore had an official visit with the Bills on Monday. A 2021 second-round pick of the Jets, Moore was a regular in the Browns' receiving corps the last two seasons, racking up 120 catches (on 205 targets) for 1,178 yards and three touchdowns in 17 regular-season games.

I dont think the comp pick thing matters on the Bills end. We are not in line for any picks at the moment. Currently minus 1.

If Rasul Douglas or Cooper signs, they may get us back to zero.

Nope, anyone signed after the draft, no longer counts towards the formula unless apparently you use this seldom used tag

The Bills will not get a comp pick unless Palmer and Hoecht do nothing for the Bills next year which we all hope doesn’t happen

but not against the Bills if he signs here after May 1st ?

maybe, it wasn't clarified by anything I have been reading, here or on the web. I may have missed a post that mentioned it

Personally if we want the guy just sign him, before someone else does

Ok I figured it out. Elijah Moore can only be signed on the 3rd Sunday of a leap year as long as DJ Moore isn't available via trade in which case it's null and void and then the Patriots get a comp pick

Nobody has signed him because nobody wants him....locker room cancer, overrated talent.

Let him pass by, Bills can do better

the Bills liked him enough for him & his wife to be here on a visit. I’d gladly sign him to a 1 year deal.  Then trade for Pickens just to upset you🙃

Thank you, Gonzo.  To many dates are being thrown around.  Didn't it used to be June 1 and not the day after the draft?
