I'm also curious if the Browns would remove the tender after May 1st and not be on the hook for 3.5 mil for a 5-6th WR. they just signed Dionte Johnson yesterday which is an older version of Moore. Right now it a free 6th round pick(?) if he signs elsewhere but that changes on Friday. Even if the Browns don't remove the tag I would think Buff could offer a contract with easy to earn incentives that would be greater than 3.5 if he plays. Moore could decide to bet on him self and a much better situation to get a better contract next year. Taking a visit to One Bill Drive with his wife indicates to me he's probably debating taking less now for potentially more later today but want assurances of his role. 2 Quote

K D Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Ok I figured it out. Elijah Moore can only be signed on the 3rd Sunday of a leap year as long as DJ Moore isn't available via trade in which case it's null and void and then the Patriots get a comp pick 2 Quote
