Eli was a MUCH better prospect.  If Shedeur had Eli's college tape the same thing could've happened between the Titans, Browns, and Giants this year.  Shedeur was a 2nd round prospect by most.

True. Also, Archie’s reputation / personality is slightly different than Deion’s . Not the deciding factor here , but may have had some influence. This was 99% about Shedeur though.

I just think Deion and Shedeur badly misread the room as far as scouts evaluation of him goes.  If Eli was a 2nd round prospect that might slip into the first round at best than I don't think Archie would've been doing radio interviews in January saying he'd have a say in where his kid goes like Deion was.  I also don't think that Eli would've acted like Shedeur did in thinking he was above the normal draft process the NFL encourages prospects to go through.  Once the QB needy teams said no to Shedeur he fell because the talent wasn't worth the headache as a backup/developmental player until the value was too good to pass on in round 5.  It was stunning to me tbh in a QB hungry league that he lasted all the way to the 5th round.

Sanders didn't blow just one interview, if the stuff coming out the last couple days is correct.  He blew a whole series of them in obnoxious fashion.  It almost has to be some kind of long troll here because nobody could possibly be that stupid, but then again, I think that Shedeur and his dad started sniffing their own farts and the obscene hype by halfwits like Kiper insisting that Shedeur is already the best QB in the NFL.  Every one of those attention addled idiots should take a long look in the mirror

Sad-faced Eli posing with the Chargers jersey on TV was utterly hilarious. I bet if the Browns had drafted Shedeur early in the 1st round, he'd have looked just as sad holding up the jersey. After sitting undrafted for 2 days, no doubt he was happy as hell to hold up that Browns jersey.
