They are worse. Many of them are gang members who have no loyalty or decorum whatsoever. Much more dangerous and once infiltrated it's tough to find them. They aren't lined up in a field wearing bright red coats

Can you imagine Fox News surviving without you?

I've never watched Fox news in my life. I don't have TV,.waste of time. I work 12 hrs almost every day. If I'm replying it's probably because I'm taking a break (aka in the restroom)

Well, that’s ok. It was a demorat who did it. If a Republican does it, it’s all of a sudden bad?
You can’t make this up! The hypocrisy of the leftists is astounding!

This is whats disturbing. The party that cried about the constitution for years now has decided that due process is not necessary because liberals might support it.  This is the deep stupidity of what Maga stand stands for. As long as liberals are upset ***** American values.

“We’ll have visitors from close to 100 countries. We want them to come, we want them to celebrate, we want them to watch the game,” Vance said. “But when the time is up, they’ll have to go home, otherwise they’ll have to talk to [Homeland Security] Secretary Noem.”

We should all feel uncomfortable with the governments ability to just pick someone up with lack of due process to be sent to a foreign prison.

It was bad under Bush and it’s bad now.

With that out of the way..

The “Maryland Man” is very likely, at least, affiliated with MS-13.   He should not be here.  He should’ve been deported. Remove the prison part of the equation.

It’s a tough rope to walk for Dems though, because Americans support Trump +19 in polling on immigration.  Thats unheard of support for a major issue in our divided times.

Dems went so far under Biden that over-correction will be painful.. and thus far, Americans wildly approve.

Arguing, and visiting, carrying on over a likely gang member illegal immigrant is insanely bad optics… hence Jeffries telling them to knock it off.

I don’t know how they came up with this stat. It isn’t true. It is true that a large number didn’t see an immigration judge because they did not request a hearing. That’s called expedited removal, and it still exists for people stopped along the border.

When “final” isn’t final

By Bill Glahn

To belabor the Tim Walz U-M law school graduation speech, the descriptions and headlines of his rant don’t do it justice. Here’s what he said to the graduates,

Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets, they are in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons, no chance to mount a defense, not even the chance to kiss a loved-one goodbye, just grabbed up by masked agents, shoved into those vans, and disappeared. To be clear, there’s no way for us to know whether they were actually criminals or not, because they refuse to give them a trial. We’re just supposed to take their word for it.

To begin, Walz is unable to pronounce the word “Gestapo,” so he is unlikely to have any idea of what the word means.

What Walz is describing is the process by which U.S. ICE deports illegal aliens subject to a Final Order of Removal. They already had a trial, they lost. By the time the “masked men” in those “unmarked vans” roll around, the alien in question is a fugitive.

We do not give fugitives prior warning. The prior wanting was the removal order. And yes, we know they are “criminals” because the Final Removal Order declared them so.

They do not get to start from zero with a release and a new trial. That’s not “due process,” that’s endless process.

Why do you think breaking the law is an American value? why do you think your opinion is why I am against breaking the law, I don't care what you think- but the Constitution is written for the protection of the American citizen, not protection of the worlds population.

The constitution also is written about how we treat non citizens.  Having due process doesn’t mean we don’t throw your ass out. It’s called being civilized.  Taking rights from anyone becomes a slippery slope.

Where in the constitution are these rights of non-citizens addressed? The only statement I can find that addresses non citizens is in Article III clause 2 section 2 "...cases between U.S. citizens and foreign states and their citizens, come under federal jurisdiction. The trials will be in the state where the crime was committed."
