Dak gets flak because he, just like Jared Goff, have wilted in the postseason.

But he’s a very good QB.

Never understood the Dak hate either personally. If we didn’t have Josh, I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Lots of folks are of the opinion that if you don’t have a surefire HoF QB, you shouldn’t pay a very good one.

I'm guessing that during his draft year, Pickens wasn't given the "Bills Blue" designation...

The Buffalo Bills assign a "Bills Blue" designation to draft prospects who demonstrate

high character and strong personal qualities, regardless of their talent or draft round.

Known Bills draftees who have received this designation include:

Josh Allen (QB, 2018 first-round pick)

Harrison Phillips (DL, 2018 third-round pick)

Dalton Kincaid (TE, 2023 first-round pick)

Maxwell Hairston (CB, 2025 first-round pick)

Landon Jackson (DE, 2025 third-round pick)

Deone Walker (DT, 2025 fifth-round pick)

Dorian Strong (CB, 2025 sixth-round pick)

He has reported issue at Georgia. Bills should have all the inside info from James Cook. Like most said, paying him big time is high risk. But I’d say the bills should’ve drafted him, like the Steelers did. Get the value out of him and then trade him for a high pick. For a team like the bills, that might be the only way to get over-the-top talent.

Remember last year he refused to run clearing routes, half hearted at blocking, would not go after teammates fumbles etc for the reason of not getting himself injured?

"On Thursday night, something seemed off. Targeted nine times, Pickens had five catches for only 37 yards. It was his lowest yardage output since Week 1, when he caught three passes for 30 yards against the Eagles.

The other issue was his demeanor. He seemed to be, at times, a little disinterested. He seemed to be, at times, a little disengaged. On one play, when the pass was thrown his way, he seemed to run his route half-heartedly. And it appeared that quarterback Dak Prescott had something to say to him about it."

He’s an incredibly talented player but he has always been like this even as a rookie. We played him I think in Picketts first start and I’ve never seen such a lazy WR when the ball wasn’t coming his way.

He now has his whole demeanor as a Steeler being bad, this coming out about him now, and he was benched when they were in Vegas for missing curfew. Someone is going to pay him a ton of money but it won’t be the Bills

Sherman wasn't the only one who criticized Pickens for his play on Thursday night.  The announcers during the game mentioned Pickens' play after Lamb went down.  They noted that 2nd year WR, Ryan Flournoy, a 6th rounder, caught 9 of 13 targets for 115 yards was the one who stepped up, not Pickens.

I’m sorry, but This team needs more nut jobs. Diggs & Incognito were the last nut jobs we signed and they both played at an elite level.

Give me a few more ballers who are nuts and a few less choir boys who suck.

He is not the right type of nut job.

it’s an interesting debate -

the classic do you pay Kirk cousins and hope you get lucky bounces or keep drafting QBs and load up a superstar roster around a draft pick

If you have Kirk Cousins it is an interesting debate. If you have Dak Prescott you pay him. They are not the same tier of player.

who could have possibly forseen Pickens becoming the one of the best WRs in the game😂😂

That would be all of us.

We also saw what a high-maintenance pain in the ass he was going to be.

He's playing for a big contract and he still can't hide his crappy attitude and narcissism.

Buyer beware.

you would never have to suffer through "Big Game Dak" threads....or many playoff games.

I don’t think it is that interesting.

If you have a guy who is in the top 10 conversation year after year, you pay him. You don’t dump them shooting for a perennial top 3 guy. Those guys are usually Hall of Famers.

How many HoF or HoF trajectory QBs have been drafted since Aaron Rodgers in 2005? Wilson, Mahomes, Allen, Lamar  is the entirety of the list. Maybe one more that we don’t know yet, but Wilson wasn’t more than a top 10 guy for a lot of his career.

So hoping you can find 1 of 4 give or take QBs over 20 years is not a good strategy.

well part of that not just looking for a better qb but if you can get even average play while saving 60M suddenly you can surround the same tier player with 2-3 all pros.

we never fully embraced that roster construction with rookie contract Josh but the proverbial is a purgatory team with a 10-15 qb better downgrading the roster to keep him or taking a guy like dart, nix etc…. Who is a second shelf prospect and really stocking the cupboard.

honestly haven’t watched a ton of him in the last year. He might not be the best example but I think not far from that split where it gets interesting. Like might be 1-2 guys above the cut but not far away.

What is a proverbial purgatory team?

Dak was drafted in 2016. He has gotten tagged and 2 massive extensions. He is 82-52 as starter in Dallas. They have made the playoffs 5 seasons.

How many talented teams have we seen held back from even making the playoffs because of just awful QB play?

It doesn’t compute to me imo. If you don’t have a top 10 QB, you should be selling off talent to find one. Not praying Kenny Pickett is good enough to back into a WC spot 1 year out of 5.

Dak is underrated. He is a top 10 guy.
