Mock draft simulators.

Maybe we are having Aaron Maybin flashbacks.

As I said before, I would much rather have a 1st round WR than an Edge rusher, but in that particular mock, all the top receivers including Worthy and Mitchell were off the board....I hope that isn’t the case in the real draft!!

I'd prefer a trade back rather than taking Robinson, but I suspect McD would prefer otherwise.

Traded back several times, and then back up. Went with where I think the strengths are in the draft, and ignored the ones where I don't think there is value.

Pretty similar to what I just landed from same site. Same two WRs at slightly different spots, and some other parallels throughout. Lots of value and lots of potential key pieces moving forward.

Honestly believe this is one of the best no-trade mocks I've seen to date. Multiple serious prospects at WR, DT, and EDGE (hopefully assuring at least one strong rookie contributor), with nice additions at S, RB, OG, CB, and TE. It isn't what many Bills fans will be happy with, but I believe this haul sets the Bills up in the short and long term.

Of the last 4 mocks posted I see everyone is taking Kamara, I would recommend taking Solomon instead as he should be around the same point in the draft. As has been the case, except Basham and he didn't last, is the bills like length in there DE's. Kamara and Solomon are basically the same size

Kamara

Screenshot_20240314-132128.thumb.png.8b64aeb8c04883103e9a26bf6a207062.png

Solomon

Screenshot_20240314-132100.thumb.png.6f25411b7fdd31c754e1b0e8928101ba.png

But arm length and hand size are what make the difference. Solomons arm length and hand size are superior. And never underestimate hand size for DE's battling NFL tackles.

I traded up to 4 before the draft expecting to take Nabers, instead the Patriots did....so I look Marvin Harrison Jr.

The cost on here it accepted 28, 60 and 2025 1st.

If we actually did this, I'd imagine it would take  28, 60, 128, 134, 2025 1st, 2nd

Would anyone do that if it got us Harrison Jr?

Never.

The top rated prospect at a given position often doesn't become the best NFL player. Imagine if the Vikings gave up a King's Bounty to trade up and take the 1st WR instead of sitting pat and Drafting the 5th WR taken in Justin Jefferson.

This class is so deep and talented, it's not worth giving up that much for a higher rated prospect. We did that once before and gave up a 1st+ to Draft Sammy Watkins when we could have kept that and Drafted Odell Beckham Jr.

And not only do you not know what the future holds for Draft prospects, you don't know where we'll be picking next year. God forbid, Josh could tear his ACL in Week 1. Then we end up with a Top 5 pick that we don't even have.

To be completely honest, I almost automatically skip past these front-loaded, trade-heavy lists of assets exchanged and picks. No offense to you. The format is less accessible than comparable screenshots. It's a shame because how evidently you enjoy exploring a multitude of draft possibilities, often bucking needs-based fan consensus. But then I have to ask: which effing simulator has Latu available at 28?! That's...interesting. Safety is nicely restocked here, and the EDGE pipeline is filled. Solid #2 RB added. LG now a competition between Edwards and strong prospect in McCormick.

But the two biggest needs, WR and DT, according to most fans, are not prioritized. Tez Walker looked LOST at the Senior Bowl (despite his impressive traits), and Eboigbe is more of a 3-4 DE prospect than a 4-3 DT. Not a great fit. Smith could represent value, I guess, given his surprise med e v a l at the combine.

Here's a similarly UNsatisfying draft haul that could be beneficial in the longer term. Most of these guys should be NFL contributors sooner rather than later. I'm guessing most posters will be mad about WR and DT.

has to split into two parts but this my best one yet

After the first two picks (both of which should be HUGE contributors early on), I see some roster redundancy that would rely on injury designations, practice squad sneaks, or outright cuts at a couple positions (THREE RBs?! I like Jordan and Guerendo as back half of the draft prospects, but when you first spend #97 on Shipley, at least one of these other two just won't be on the roster). Drafting another punter is also...surprising. One of the two EDGEs is unlikely to make it.

The WGR guys will enjoy a new iteration of punt-a-palooza with THREE on the roster coming out of the draft.

A big part of my pushback is of course the WR picks. Tez Walker has insane athletic traits, but lacks refined skills. Was a mess at the Senior Bowl. Jackson isn't as explosive as you'd like for a little guy, and will have a very difficult path to the 53.

I don't hate competition, and a bunch of these disposable picks are late on day three, but I ultimately question the value.

My attempt, lucky DeJean fell to Buffalo, instant FS starter, still would sign a Free agent.

in the 2nd took an explosive WR, a faster AJ Brown (IMHO)

3rd got a back up explosive RB with size, adds to responsible good RB room. Also got a Guard to compete at LG.

Foster is another Tackle that could be moved to guard.  Cedric Johnson or Cole gives Buffalo a 4th DE (I assume they’ll resign Lawson still) so maybe 5th.

Pick 189 is a athletic LB, likely a PS candidate, but insurance.

Boyd and Lovette are potential back ups, both have good size, Lovette could be a steal.

and if you see a guy with the last name Bills, I think the Bills have to make that happen.
