The same that 1 person can. We have a Casino, tons of bars, attractions. We also have the Falls, they can visit and Canada if they want. There's a lot someone that's coming up for one night or a couple nights can do. You act like they will be moving here lol

So, of all the hotels in Western NY with multiple floors, there's only 2300 rooms in the most populated area of WNY? I find that hard to believe. A few hundred rooms a hotel and there's got to be a few thousand hotels between Orchard Park and Niagara Falls as well as other areas south of the stadium

I think you overestimate the capacity of these hotels.  The Embassy Suites might look big, for example, but I'll bet it has only about 150 rooms.  The largest hotel in Buffalo, the former Hilton and Adams Mark, now called the Buffalo Grand, has 400.

Right?  I don't think people understand the enormous amount of infrastructure needed to pull it off.  Detroit couldn't handle it last time they hosted; we sure can't.

 

We *might* have the infrastructure for NCAA basketball regionals (round of 16).  But even when we host opening round games, it gets a little tight.  The biggest sporting event I've seen here was the 2011 World Juniors, and everything downtown was booked solid--as were several of the suburban hotels and a number of NF hotels.  (2018 drew significantly less interest.)

I'm familiar with what the word radius means.

We don't have the hotel rooms.  It's not close.

I've already demonstrated, with citation, that Buffalo has 1% of what's needed.  If you think the other 99% of rooms are within 40 miles of Rich, even WITH Canada, which the NFL wouldn't count because of the Detroit situation years back, I'd love to see your data.

Batavia, Lockport, Medina, Pembroke, Corfu, and Lewiston have at least 30 more rooms between them.  Whats that take us to?  Attica has a lot of housing.

I think weather is only part of reason why Buffalo would never see a Super Bowl.  Even if they put a dome on the new stadium and put the stadium downtown, Buffalo is still too small of a city to host that big of an event.

 

The NFL did host Super Bowl 26 in Minnesota in the dead of winter.  It was freezing and there was a ton of snow but cancelled flights etc didn’t have much of any effect on the decision.

Cuz it's part of the qualifications for a host City.. the nfl brings the NFL experience ... An interactive NFL theme park to the host City the week before the SB 

 

And it requires a 800,000+ sq ft convention center to house ...

Quick look before I go to work said Minnesota made offer with 17,000 rooms and another thing said nfl wanted 20,000 rooms from New Orleans. As of 2014 we had 17,664 hotel rooms in Erie and Niagara Falls NY(couldn’t get a date on falls numbers). Article said within an hour drive. So you can add in Batavia(some classy hotels there for patriots owner), parts of Rochester and ellicottville. Now we’re pretty close. That doesn’t include anything built in Erie county in the last 8 years either. 

How long ago did Tom Brady’s dad comment on the hotels? A lot have been built since then. Some are very nice.

It has become imbalanced.

Dome or Great weather in Feb = superbowl. No way in hell they award Buffalo a superbowl being played the 1st weekend in February.   Then what if, even with a dome, we have a blizzard there?  Fans cant get to the **** Superbowl.  As much as we would like it, Buffalo is never hosting a superbowl.

I'm just thinking of 40 miles on all sides of the stadium. Obviously, I was wrong. 40 miles is a long way so at least 100,000 would seem legit. But even that is obviously off
