Those trained on US and other NATO country weapons systems have been instructed how to operate the weapons and systems but not how to apply them successfully in combat. The Spring offensive has been a failure. Meanwhile, Russia has built up a sufficient fighting force that is sizeable enough to prevail in any war of attrition along with building up their domestic munitions industries. Their performance has been far from perfect with consistently bad leadership but the math doesn't lie. Nobody here is rooting for Putin as that ridiculous charge gets thrown out there any time some other posters want to invalidate another's opinion that deviates from the official view. We can wish all we want for Ukraine to prevail but reality needs to be the place where smart and fact-based decisions are made. Again, if the US and NATO are not willing to engage in direct combat operations this conflict is lost.
