The wheels are coming off of the GOP. It will be the Trumpy candidates that prevent them from taking either chamber. Most of them are going to lose.

Nothing to do with Trump.  A failure to clearly articulate a roadmap and a legislative agenda along with some overall vision in contrast with the Biden agenda and record to date will undo Republican efforts to retake Congress. Just saying the other guys are doing poorly so don't vote for them isn't enough.

What's the benefit to replace one group of representatives doing nothing with another group of representatives that will do nothing?  But maybe that's what our system has devolved into?

Nearly 6 in 10 Americans said everything.

Omg

He says at the end of that piece that the POTUS created what ever percentage of jobs WHAT NO when he took office all those people were off work because of the pandemic & now they are going back to work so that is his great economic ideas at work ??

I THINK NOT !!  It's just plain common sense but once again this guy is trying to take people going back to work as his accomplishment the same as he does with getting the vaccine out to people that want it . A leopard never changes it's spots !!

While absolutely true, I think these people absolutely want to ban every single gun.

Have to get them on record to say as much.

Even if they had a new platform they don’t have good enough candidates to articulate that message since Trump chose the craziest people he could find that seem loyal.

Where are the stories or headlines "Can the GOP win back the House" with clear overtones they will and should - just like you saw the reports and stories about Ds potentially winning the House in 2018?

Weird.

"Are you better off then you were 2...4 years ago when Ds slowly stole back DC?"

By chance, have you been following the Democratic primary race in the Texas 28th congressional district?? Jessica Cisneros versus Henry Cuellar? If so, any quick thoughts?? Mine:

1. It’s shameful (but predictable) for Pelosi and Clyburn to be backing a scandal-ridden, pro-NRA, anti-Roe DINO like Cuellar in this particular election season.

2. Cisneros is probably going to lose by an incredibly small margin (<100 votes??), but it was still a very impressive showing since she almost beat an incumbent who had the entire financial backing of the Dem establishment.

3. I’m not at all confident like Pelosi is that Cuellar will win in November against Cassy Garcia, and I don’t think it even matters in the big picture because of the whole DINO thing.

4. This is a bellwether Dem primary and among the most important ones in the country. I think it shows that moderate Dems are slamming into a popularity ceiling with non-Cuban Latinos, and that suppression of progressive electoral energy is going to hurt in November. Meanwhile, we’re managing to see plenty of Latino enthusiasm for a candidate in conservative South Texas “despite” her full endorsement from a supposedly wacky NYC socialist.

5. The generational divide between moderate old Democrats and progressive young Democrats is once again rearing its ugly head. Democrats will have to somehow keep this caustic coalition glued for another five months in the face of a looming economic recession and a failed agenda for the working class (namely: Build Back Better).

https://www.yahoo.com/news/biden-really-twisted-approval-ratings-135419590.html

Only 41% of American adults approve of Biden's performance as president as of his 487th day in office, according to Gallup. Trump's job approval among all adults was at 42% at the same point in his presidency.

"He's now lower than Trump, and he's really twisted about it," a source close to the White House told NBC News.

Biden is growing progressively more frustrated that his team has failed to find a strong, consistent message heading into the 2022 midterm elections, sources told NBC News.

Their message couldn't be any stronger:

1.  Inflation is Putin's fault (nothing is Brandon's fault)

2. Covid forever - mask and vax up

3. Buy an electric car

4. America is more racist then ever

5. We want to take ALL your guns

6. Abort kids up thru birth

CNN, Politico agree: Lawlessness may lead to "a political earthquake" in CA primaries

If California experiences “a political earthquake” in its primaries today, where precisely will the fault(line) be? Voters may well put it right underneath the increasingly radical Democratic Party and the progressives’ refusal to enforce the law.
