Everyone is smarter than everyone else, and only you, Mr. Smartass, know with confidence how the new season will turn out. That means it is time for... The Second Annual "Dinner's On Me, Smartass" Contest. For any newcomers, the rules are simple provided you can grasp simple concepts. If you can accurately predict the Bills exact wins and losses for the 2005 regular season, I will buy you and your spouse a $200 gift certificate to the restaurant of your choice! Think about it. Do you have any idea how many times you could eat at The Sizzler? Why, you could help yourself to the all-you-can-eat buffet and still buy a round of Pabst Blue Ribbon for everyone in the joint. Here are the very simple rules. The Bills 2005 Schedule is below. Copy and paste it into your response to this thread, and next to each game put either a W for a win or an L for a loss. (There is no bonus, however feel free to explain your picks if you want.) Each week, whoever picks wrong is out and whoever picks correctly advances to the next week. You keep advancing until you are wrong. If you get all 16 games right, YOU WIN! It's like the ultimate fusion of "Survivor" and "American Idol," except no one here is banging Paula Abdul on the schnide. Some other caveats: There is only one $200 prize. If one person wins, they let me know which restaurant they choose, and I will arrange for a gift certificate to that restaurant. If two people win, you split the $200. If 200 people win, you each get a buck. If nobody wins, the money rolls over to next year, and we add another $50 to the pot. Enter your selections in this thread. You will have until MIDNIGHT on THIS SUNDAY, May 1, 2005, to enter your selection. At the stroke of midnight on May 1, 2005, the contest is closed. We'll make up a spreadsheet from the thread.
